I got some Silver Queen corn from the farm next door last week. Very yummy stuff but still not quite what we used to get in Ohio. I have had some very close that I got from a small town farm inland from Charleston though a few years back.

OK we're un-bugged for now. it dissipated before it got here. But it's going to be a long night from the sounds of things.
Yup, it's kinda like the hurricane parties around here whenever one of them is close.
There is a lot of stuff being torn up around here. in Tampa area they are having some 97 mph winds and the squalls are heading this way, going to be a long night. I may have to even wear cloths tonight to sleep in so If the trailer gets blown over in the middle of the night I won't have to be caught with all my nekidness showing.
I'd have to change my screen name to Gummy bare.

True that,,, I remember one year I was called into work at 3:00am to check out some damage from a tornado.
When I got there (about 20 min.s from when I was called) the guard house was gone, but the stuff inside it was still kinda there including the guard that was hiding under the desk when the storm took the whole building right off the top of her while she was working. It took us about 15 min.s to talk her into getting out from under there. When she did get out she cussed us all out and quit. I talked to her Captn. the next day and he said that she quit. I told him that he wasn't aloud to accept her resignation. that he should get her some counseling and give her a week off (with pay) and that when she was ready to come back to work she would find a brand new guard house. He agreed and she came back an about a week. (and of course he sent us the bill for her weeks pay)

Honey girl made me take my clothes off out on the porch and told me to march straight to the shower. LOL, but I had to stop by here first.

will do TT, so far so good. but we got another band just moving into our county now so I hope it is just a good all night rain and the high winds will be over soon now that the heat of the day is over.
And for God's sake,,, go put some cloths on before you post here or at least turn off your web camera 1st.
