My oldest sister has a FB account and was able to reconnect with many old friends that she went to High School with. She has friends scattered all over the country and she has found it a good way to stay in touch.

Hi guys! I do have facebook but I use it for chatting mostly. Oh, and coupon codes. LOL at first I belonged to numerous vaping groups. I decided it was too much drama and downsized. I did make the mistake of friending people I don't know or never chatted with. I am in the process of deleting those folks. Its just time consuming. I might end up with a few real friends....
Yep! You and DH have a lot in common. My grandson (3.5 years old) calls here to talk to us and DH answered the phone the other day. I was sick so he was stuck on the phone for awhile. He finally asked GS to get our son on the phone. He asked our son what was up and our son said oh nothing. He just wanted to talk to you and he put GS back on the phone. I was laying in bed LMAO
I did finally get up and rescue him though.

LOL, I know a lot of people use FaceBook and enjoy it and if its for them, then that's great.
And I guess you can read all kinds of horror stories about using the Internet for anything.
