After spending much of yesterday in Nature's oven and feeling quite well done, we decided at dusk to hop in the pool to cool off. It wasn't but a few minutes when I tell hubby that there's those little birds I saw a few nights before when I had Maggie out. As they continue to swoop down around our heads, hubby most excitedly informs me, "Those are :censored: :censored: :censored: BATS!!!!" I became FloJo the Olympic track star and sprinted inside the house in record time, with the other two fast on my heels.

Since neither of us has seen Dark Shadows yet nor read the Twilight Series, we are left with the internet to do our research on the creatures that I'm sure wants my blood. The web assures me the bats aren't after me (yeah right...it wasn't their heads getting dove at!) but merely want water, such as a birdbath or swimming pool. It went on to say to get rid of the creatures, you must find their roost and spray it with dog repellant. Now, I know I ain't the brightest person on the face of the Earth, but I am pretty sure bats don't go WOOF! WOOF! I also know I'm more like TT's headless chicken and have no intentions of going looking for these ugly things!

Is Billy the Exterminator out of trouble yet? Anyone got his phone number?

There's Free!!!!!

Hiya Free!!!!

Boy, I hope you guys don't get any more severe storms either. Just a good rain would be real nice! And cooler temperatures.

Then you could be just like us in East Texas and wear cowboy hats and lay around on your couch in the front yard!

EeeeeeeHaaaaa!!!

TT

I now know my problem (well one of 'em atleast) after all these years. I've always exclaimed, "YeeeeeeeHaaaaa!" (only after HeeeeeHawwww was off the air for a while) when it's supposed to be EeeeeeeeeHaaaaaa.

Thanks for clearing that up. :)

LOL Free .... bats are our friends!!!

They eat those nasty bugs that like to feed on us!

I'm trying to create a new breed of bats that will eat cats. salem gave me the idea with her love of zombies and werewolves and dark things that go bump in the night and suck blood and all that happy stuff. salem knows a lot about that sort of thing. She even watches them on television!

salem gives me a lot of good ideas!

Well you go ahead and be friends with 'em. Feel free to be socialable and invite them down to your place for a nice, long vacation.
