I finally made it!! Brother-in-law and his wife came over for dinner tonight and just left.

salem, I sure am glad you are at least feeling a little better. I hope its the beginning of a complete cure and recovery!

After BIL left my wife had me out there spraying some wasp nests she had located around the house. You know I love that job. Especially when I have to get up on a ladder to do it. But I didn't get stung!

My wife made a huge pot of homemade chicken pot pie tonight and man, that was some good stuff@ My belly is still smiling!

TT!!! I know that you feel like superman but, please! stay off the ladders! That is a good job for one of your wonderful young sons or grandsons. I worry about that because you know that you will not heal quickly if you were to take a fall. Accidents happen no matter how careful we are.

Next time you think about climbing that ladder, remember those long hospital stays lol pretty please?

Hi Everyone,

I'm still here, I was watching Haunted Highway on tv. The "Dark Man Investigation!!!"

I had that spray that's supposed to shoot 27 feet but the can I had only shot about twelve feet. So that meant getting up on a ladder because the nest was so high on the house (don't ever get a two story house!!!) And there was another on the porch and one at the pump house ... I was busy killing wasps!

But you're right salem, and I'm very careful. I honestly don't want any more hospitals for a long, long time! Very long time!

The first and only other house that we built was a 2 story. I loved the Cape Cod style houses and just had to have one. That was our house in Charleston. I learned to despise two stories so much that now we have a single story. I would not have another two story again. Ever. Some are pretty from the outside but living in them can be difficult IMO. Plus those darn dormers equal a ton of wasted space :)

Actually our son was a teenager back then. Our master bedroom was on the first floor so he had the entire upstairs to himself. That was probably a good thing at the time ;)

Hi Pokey. Hope you're doing well. "HUGS". I'm a little wilted from this heat and calling it a night.
