Good Morning Everybody!!!

LOL, well, I got up early so I could remember what its like for all of you who have to get up and get ready for work. The only difference is that I've been sitting in front of the computer and not getting ready to go anywhere.

But I remember those days. A shower, getting dressed, coffee and a quick breakfast, and out the door to the car, fighting traffic, hoping for a good parking space, get out of the car and a final check to make sure my zipper is up and off to work in the salt mine and a boss with a big frown on his face who I knew hated me.

Yep. I remember those days.

And don't miss them.

I'm going to sit here and leisurely drink my nice coffee, then a great breakfast and when I feel like it I'll go outside and get on my 4wheeler and move a couple branches that fell out of a tree over at the old farm and then get on my big, ol' tractor and go do some mowing until early afternoon.

Then a shower and a nap.

And all those working people will still be working!

I hope they all have a wonderful day!

TT

You had jobs like I did! lol I agree with you. There is not much that I miss about the rat race. It did pretty much suck.

LOL, I really hope there is such a thing as "retirement" by the time they are ready to retire!!

And I hope they get some of that free money like I have.

Ahhh, I might be old but I was sure born at the right time!

TT

Yep, now retirement age is just about where you are now. I think the government is hoping that most will kick the bucket before they are able to collect lol

Well, I've finished mowing with the tractor for the day. Its getting hot and very humid out there and when mowing with the tractor you not only get the ambient heat, but the heat thrown off the tractor too. So it can get pretty hot. I'm wilted.

salem and jj2 and Sdh, I guess all the others are at work and I'm sure Gummy Bear is working on his pics.

I've sure raised a good bunch of hard working kids here on this Forum. I'm proud of all of them. Especially for the contributions to my Sociable Securities. Really great kids!

I've just gulped down several glasses of iced tea ... now for a quick shower and a good ol' Pokey nap in my recliner!

Good morning (barely). I'm sitting in the salt mines myself (which are a room of my house)...At least I can't SEE my boss frowning at me...unless he skyps me...

Anyhow - Have a Good Monday all you retirees - See you later! It's going to be a scorcher today - they're predicting we may hit 70 !

It is hot and humid here too, TT :( I was surprised to see that our humidity was at 88% at 8am this morning. It is all of the rain that we had the last several days making it like a sauna out there. Glad to see that you are taking it easy in the heat :)

I am not complaining about the rain though lol

Hot and humid here as well. 101.7 degree's on the deck. Hmmm maybe I can fry some lizards out there?

You could probably fry those lizards Sdh, but the humidity is actually too high for that. It makes them moldy real fast and gives them a funky taste. And there's nothing worse than moldy fried lizards unless its liver. That stuff tastes like fried ship and there's nothing you can do with it except feed it to the dog.

I think I would try fried grasshoppers if I was up your way. The humidity doesn't affect them when you fry them.

Ha ha TT! It has been so hot the bugs have died off/hiding. I suppose I need to spritz some stuff out in the garden. I wish I had techno weather this year.

They were like that here too but once it rains, they are back full force.

+1 for technoweather :D has a nice ring to it too.
