JJ we got good rain yesterday abour 9/10ths of inch thats almost an inch !
Trouble it knocked down all my fig pots some of them in 30 gallon containers but there just fine .
Winds were mentioned at 70mpg and we lost power but only for about an hour and a half.
They evacuated 100,000 people from grant park in chicago at the music fest cause of this storm and then few hours later let them come back. Glad i was not there !
Today driving i saw a whole bunch of limbs down and some trees split but most were the ash tree that the town is cutting down because of the emerald ash borer is killing them all. Luckily i do not have any on my property or the towns property =parkway as i wanted to be different and planted my own types .
So all in all they estimate 3000 to 5000 ash trees will be cut down.

We got a little yesterday. It was over pretty quick though. I guess it dumped on Bloomington and they had some bad wind.
