TFA Mountain Dew for RDA

Itired several recipes, but I always ended up with a perfume like odor and taste with TFA Mt Dew. I gave up on it.
i dont get a perfume odor from TFA Mtn Dew. mine tastes like its stale. or perhaps too low/high on the %.
whats strange to me is that every single Mtn Dew vendor ejuice ive tried has been good. all slightly different, but all good. this tells me that Mtn Dew cant be a very hard recipe to master. yet i cant get it right

TFA Dew (it's just a citrus flavor on it's own) 4-6% with TFA Cola 2-5% and 1% TFA Sweetener should get you where you want to be. I like to add 2% French Vanilla to mine to make it more tasty. Remember not all flavors taste the same when vaped as they might in foods. Some flavors that are horrible vaped on their own actually taste wonderful in cake frosting. I find Orange or Citrus is a hard one to get right which is probably why FW is the most popular when it comes to their Blood Orange and Orange Dream Bar.
Without Cola your Dew is going to taste flat and a hint of Vanilla helps to bring it to life. Nobody can copy Dew exactly so vendors doctor up their juice to make it closer to the real deal. Some vendors seem to have even cracked the Black and Voltage flavors. But to perfect the true taste of Dew requires a little of a lot of different things. Another really good citrus flavor is Cacti Cooler from One Stop Flavors it's not like Mountain Dew but it's good if your into citrus cola flavors.

Thanks so much man. That helps a lot. I'm really digging the cola idea. Thinking back, I've had a cola vape before and I think it would indeed bring dew to life. Thanks for the vanilla tip too. Do you use TFA French vanilla? I have TFA vanilla swirl but need the cola anyway so it ain't no thang.

Maybe cactus cooler too. I do love my citrus vapes. One Stop DIY Shop? Only reason I haven't tried it is I thought it had a pineapple soda taste, which I'm not too fond of usually. But if it's more of a citrusy vape, I'm in.
I use all TFA for my Dew.
And Cactus Cooler is Orange Pineapple but to me the Pineapple takes a back seat to the Citrus.
