I'm getting ready to place an order with TFA directly, wanting to get a good assortment of flavors (you know, just in case of the vapocalypse)

Can you guys suggest flavors, opinions, recipes, etc... Obviously I'm not a DIY master or anything, so I'm looking for "Get the whipped cream, it add's great volume to mixes" or "Vanilla swirl is good, but Vanilla bean gelato add's much more intense vanilla flavor"... ya know.

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Well, really, for flavor advice, you GOTTA tell us what you LIKE....
Personally, I am a big fan of a couple TFA flavors - but you might hate them:

1 - Double RY4. It's a creamy yet lite "RY4" which in theory should have tobacco, vanilla and caramel tones to it. I honestly don't actually taste "tobacco" but I enjoy everything I've made with this as the "core" flavor...

2 - Bavarian Cream. I switched to the "DX" version, diacetyl-free, and still like it. It's a good way to add general "creaminess" to anything - from the above RY4, to a fruit mix...

I've had great experience ordering direct from TFA - hope you do too.

I like deserts, and tobacco mainly. Not huge on fruits, but some have been ok. I don't do menthol or mint at all.

My favorite ejuice of all time has been castle long (reseve) by five pawns, but have never been able to find a clone recipe worthy of the name "castle long", though I have made some juice that was plenty vapable in the process ;)

Flavors should be alright but you never know.
Before I place a DIY flavor order, I order only those flavors I will need to make 3 or more recipes, then I order all the flavors for those recipes. After I receive the flavors I test them as standalone single flavors. These tests are important because they will give a feel for taste and strength (note taking) , not necessarily if they taste good, but more on how they might interact in a mix. I find that very few single/standalone flavors can be used by themselves.
Before I buy a flavor, I research all the positives and negatives before I buy.
