Awesome review, you beat me to the punch! The t16 coil is great. Nice flavor and does a little better at higher wattage than the t12 (either Eco or Smok).
I realized though that none of these coils are really to be vaped above 200w, in regards to wicking. I practiced a lot (dont ask me why lol) and got to the point where I could attempt chain vape the t12 - t16 coils at 300w. I mean that I could take a string of big hits, not that I could have a full vaping session just chaining at 300w lol. It's honestly not the heat though, especially with the t16; you just get dry hits pretty quickly at 300w. If I pull at 300w for more than 3 seconds it gets dry. If I take more than three 1-2 seconds pulls in a row (less than 5 seconds in between) I get dry hits. So I think we do need a bigger coil for 300w, maybe a t20 coil rated at 600w to actually have a satisfying vape at 300w lmao. If its rated a 300w, I think it should be able to wick right when chain vaping at that power level. I think it could be done. On typical coils, 100+w is too hot, but these need 150+ just to be satisfying, so they could make a bigger one for 300w like that. I would be down for those clouds.
BTW, that 300w is on myGX350. My RX300 is way overpowered. DJ LSB did say the one he tested puts out 324w at the 300w setting with a .12 ohm coil (what these coils happen to be rated), but I believe mine does even more.
300w on my RX300 hits harder than 350w on Hard mode on my GX350. The sound it makes is incredible, like it's straight "steaming" the juice. I know that the juice is vaporizing in actuality lol, but with the RX300 the sound at 300w is just a different level that I'm unsure how to describe. My GX350 doesn't sound anything like it, even at 350w with the same tank/coil. Also, my RX300 starts sounding like this around 275w. I really think my model puts out above 350w, unless my GX350 happens to be particularly underpowered. My guess is the GX350 does about 285-310w at 350w setting with these coils, while the RX300 does 350+ at 300w setting. I think it's already doing 325 when set at 275w. If this isn't the case, then either the GX350 is 75-100w underpowered, or the RX300 is doing close to 400w at max power setting (with .11-.13) ohm resistance.
