TFV16 King O ring relacement needed

The protruding collar on the hinged cap, where the drip tip is pushed onto, has a perished o ring. There are two tiny o rings here and the perished one means my drip tip falls off. I am not sure what I need to order to replace the o ring. Could someone with more knowledge than myself suggest to what I might need please? I am in the UK.

Have you taken literally everything out of the box the tank came in? Usually, there's a small Ziplock type baggie that contains replacement o-rings...under the box insert that held the tank in place in the box. You should find a replacement in it, for the 1 you lost.

Thanks for the tip. I did as you said and there was one in there that was the right size but it was white, unlike the one I need to replace which is black. The thickness of the white one was a little less and therefore didn't hold the drip tip on.

If you can measure it accurately you can buy anything on the internet. They generally come in bags of 20 or more but they are still pretty cheap compared with a non-functioning tank. I've done that before. If you have a 12" steel ruler with mm's as well as inches you can lay the ring on it and it's not too hard to figure out the dimensions.
