I just wanted to say thank you to all the good people here that helped me get all the info I needed and more for a pleasant introduction into vaping! I got my first e-cig (808) the other week and so far so good!

I do have one question, though: Can you leave the cartomizer attached to the battery when not in use? And if so, for how long before the juice goes bad? and is there any risk of it leaking?

You can do that, i put one of the plastic caps on the end when i'm not using mine and leaving the carto on.

I have never seen any of mine leak doing that either.

You do have to be a bit careful with auto batteries - if you overfill a carto and juice runs down into the battery, that can muck it up.

Yeah, I have been putting a cap on the end and so far there hasn't been any issues, but I wanted to make sure that I wasn't just asking for trouble by doing that.

I don't bother covering my cartomizers unless they are going to be sitting for more than a day. From what I understand the evaporation rate is quite slow.
