When I first started looking into vaping, everything was completely overwhelming. I had no idea that there were so many options to choose from. I tried going to a few B&M's, but the only ones where I live are smoke shops or head shops carrying a minimal amount of stuff, and completely clueless. Just as an example one store had a knock off ego twist, 1 clearo, charger, and a camera bag to carry it for almost $100.

Thanks to the great people here at ecf, Pbusardo, and Dimitri the vapingreek I was able to learn the lingo and navigate the plethora of vaping devices and toppers. I skipped right over the ciga-likes and bought a vamo v3 and itaste v3. The only problem I've run into so far is I bought e-liquid that was too high in nicotine and it is unusable for me. I have since found my correct dosage and have samplers orders from several places vendors trying to find an adv that will work for me. I have cut my 1 1/2 PAD habit down to 2 or 3 analogs a day due in large part to ecf. I feel confident that I will soon have that at zero when my vapemail arrives and I have all these great liquids to try.

A special thanks to baditude, ocelot, and countless others that have taken the time to put together tutorials and grouping links to popular questions. Without this forum I would not have been able to start vaping succesfully, and this would have been another failure to quit smoking.

Got a secret for you , dont tell anyone else .... hehehehe

Dont throw away the high NIC juice you have , go to walmart to the pharmacy / health section , and buy a 6oz or so bottle of Vegetable Glycerine , its only like 3 bucks or less . In a empty bottle , if you have one , use the VG to cut you high nic liquid down a bit , IT WILL BE A WHOLE LOT THICKER JUICE . But it will save you a little and also start you on your way to mixing your own juices , that is if you want to do that . Most of us are secret mad scientists anyway or we wouldnt be vaping happily all day every day . IF, on one of your next orders , see if a supplier carries Propylene Glycol , PG , and that will thin the liquid down , and give you a little more throat hit and a little bit harsher feel / taste , whereas the VG is a touch sweeter and gives more cloud effect .

I didnt give you any instructions on mixing your juice , there are hundreds if not thousands of videos on YouTube about mixing . Dont take it that i am not willing to help , I am , just makes it easier to watch a few videos to get familiar with it . But ask away if you do have questions .

Thanks for the tip dring. How will adding straight vg or pg affect flavor in 10ml bottles? I assume lighten it up, but by a lot or a little?

I will probably get into the DIY'ing of liquids after I have tried a lot more. I am waiting on a half dozen vendors for liquids, but with the processing time and my geography, the time from order to delivery has been 1 week+ minimum. Learning what liquids I like and the amount I vape has been a long process to say the least.

I didnt know about the PIF either .

Reducing the flavor all depends on how much you reduce your nicotine content . Say you had 24mg nic and you reduced it to say 18mg , you would loose 1/4 flavor , theoretically , it also depends on the flavor , and YOUR perception of the taste . Its like me saying RY4 generally tastes like burnt marshmallow cream . You taste the same exact juice out of the same bottle and tell me YOU taste hazelnut and a hint of tobacco .
If you dont do a trade here on ECF , and decide to try reducing it yourself , just do small amounts , like 15 drops of juice and then 5 drops of VG , that SHOULD equal 1 ml , or close to it . Some pharmacies SHOULD sell you syringes and BLUNT tip needles 14ga or so without a scrip . If they ask what for tell them you are using them to mix flavors for your new roy , and make sure they see its an e-cig . I think i got my first hypo from Walgreens for about a buck . Some DIY suppliers sell just about anything you need for mixing your own juice . If they specialize is something other than DIY then things like syringes and needles will be a bit higher in price , shop around .

Good luck , it is really fun once you get into every aspect of Vaping . And remember the ECF search doesnt always work , use Google if you cant find the answer to a question you may have . last time i looked I think there were about 89k threads here on ECF .
