May seem like an odd header for a first post, but I wouldn't have been able to make a smart decision on purchasing an e-cig without lurking on these forums for several weeks (and attending the Midwest Vapefest... it was great to try out vaping before making a purchase).

Received my Joye eGo from Cignot last Wednesday (and chose them based on the glowing reviews here... and, yes, have already had similar wonderful customer service experiences), and have gone from 2 packs/day to a few analogs a day (haven't had one today... and don't think I will...).

No questions yet... and if they come up, I'll search first... have yet to find a question that wasn't already answered somewhere here. Thank you for creating an incredibly useful (and very friendly) community...

Yes, this is a wonderful forum. I wish I would have found it before my first purchase. I don't regret it, though. Everytime I think I know it all, I come back here and learn even more!

Today--I learned how to clean out old cartomizers and refill them.

Congratulations! I made pretty much the same post as you when I started. The forums here helped do all of my research and make an informed decision. Except I didn't have the luxury of attending the Midwest Vapefest first. I'm sure it was a great experience! Welcome!

Thanks so much for your responses... and for verifying the friendliness of the group (saw that at Vapefest, also... once I said I was a noob there to check it all out, several people practically took me by the hand and walked me around). It's been really, really interesting to see the subculture that's grown up around vaping... and how open it seems to be to newcomers...

I honestly have to say that because of these forums I was able to make an informed decision about my E-cig purchase (bought 510 kits for my wife and I). I can never thank everyone enough for their input.

Sorry I'm no help with vape friendly locations here. It's hard for me to get out and about so haven't been anywhere since I started vaping. Would love any references if you find some good places. Oh, but there is a guy selling e-cigs. at the Galleria so I'm betting that's one place used to some vapers around. Some good restaurants there. Happy Vaping!
