Damien is a reference to the son of Satan from an old horror flick called The Omen. Although the guy in Elendil's avatar did play a badguy in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 in the movie that photo is from he was a hero. A king to unite man against the dark tower and it's evil eye. the ranger, Aragorn the strider. From Peter Jackson's stunning adaptation of the classic Tolkein Trilogy Lord of the rings. (I have no idea who that is in Angus's avatar)

I strongly encourage you to check out the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. It is one of the finest works of fiction ever written. The first book in the trilogy is The Fellowship of the Ring Give it a read and I'm sure you'll be hooked!


EDIT: Do yourself a favor. Read the books before seeing the movies. P.J. did a masterful job(take note: George Lucas-you hack) with the films, but you will appreciate them even more if you understand them in the context of the original literary work.
