I hate to interupt MM's cooking thread but the 801s and 901s are very different. I find the 901s are hard to draw on and, to me, the taste is harsh. The 801s seem to give a lot more vapor and the taste seems to be more mellow. I don't have a Chuck yet (4 weeks and counting) but I have used 808s, 510s, 901s and 801s in my Silver Bullet and Screwdrivers and so far the 801s are my favorites

Oh, it's OK to interupt, but in the future it would be appreciated if you posted a good cake recipe WITH you interuption! :p

And NO, not YOUR eggplant recipe :nah:, good recipes ONLY!

Sorry for deviating from the boobies, but I just don't get the carto thing. I have been reading about all the praises the KR808D-1 cartos have been getting so I put in an order for a 501-901/KR adapter, some blank cartos and some prefilled.

Got them earlier this week and popped the grape one on my Tornado batt. First off I didn't like the way it tasted, second there was hardly any vapor. I thought maybe it was because the prefilled cartos had crappy eliquid in them, so I filled one of my empty ones with some TV AC 70/30, hmm once again no vapor with a slight increase in flavor over my 510. My 510 with a < 3.7v Tornado puts out much much more vapor with the same eliquid.

So I then popped them on my 5v PT (my Chucks won't be here till later this week), and same results. Even with a primer puff on the PT with the cartos it doesn't put out half the vapor my 510 on the little 3.7 (more like 3.1) Tornado batteries.

Am I doing something wrong? I know many people say they get great vapor from them (I know this is a subjective thing), but I really don't see the "a little less vapor than a 510" thing at all, I see a much less vapor thing. Do they get better when using a Chuck (3.7v or 6v)?

Not sure how long you gave these carto's, but I found that new prefilled carto's take awhile to "break in": first vapor production is pretty scant but after 10 minutes or so, they start to come into their own.

I know I'm getting a ton of vapor off my Little Chuck, using used V4L cartos, refilled with either :
- a mix of 555 0 mg VG, 555 12 mg regular and couple of drops of V4L's Cowboy 12 mg.
- straight Ecopure English Toffee 12 mg from Cignot

I can't take a picture while vaping to save my life, but my vapor production equals a lot of the video reviews I've seen where the user exhales a cloud of vapor...not just a thin stream, but what looks like a drag off a regular cigarette. If I can find a video that shows the equivalent of what I'm getting, I'll edit this and post the link.

EDIT: about 3:31 in this vid review by GrimmGreen, the vapor he's getting is very similar to what I'm getting out of my LC with carto's on it.
