Just wanted to say thanks to V4L, got my VK in the mail the other day (the day i thought I would get it, but a day before the USPS tracking said it would be delivered) and I am enjoying it greatly.

With my first order (before I ordered the VK kit) I got a free red-hot candy cart, but the strangest thing is, it tasted the way a red rose smells.. I was expecting it to be at least a little like red hots with cinnamon flavor, not flowery.. I'm tempted to order it and see if it is the same way, does anyone happen to know, first though?

If you look at my thread "MountDo or not MountDo (I say no)" that should be on page 1 or 2 here you'll see I was complaining about MountDo tasting like Lemon Pledge. And some folks agree and others say that they like it and it doesn't have an odd flavor. That thread references another thread with more comments about taste.

Bottom line, some folks taste a strange floral like taste with some cartomizers. Other folks don't taste that at all but taste the flavor as its supposed to. Look through that thread and others here and stay away initially from flavors where folks say they taste that flower-y-ness.

Lots of other flavors. Once your taste buds settle down better then perhaps you can try those other flavors. Its been almost a full month for me and my tastes are still changing, but not as fast as before.

I'm into my 4th month vaping and my taste buds still go wonky from time to time. Best advice I ever got was to put those cartos I didn't like on a shelf for a few weeks and revisit them later. Some I couldn't stand in my first order are now favorites... And some others I still don't have a taste for even now. Taste is very subjective at least in my experience... And thankfully there are plenty of flavors to go around! :)

My tastes change all the time so try it again at a later date. I use the carts I like the least when I have bad sinus days or when I have a cold when I can't taste as well.

Our taste do change but sometimes it's because of the inconsistencies of the carto itself, at least in my experience.

Thanks for all the help. As I said, i think I will just skip it, or at least wait a little while before trying again as some have suggested. I am sure it wont be long before I find my favorite flavors. Though I already do know that the clove is one of my favorite as I used to love cloves and i think it tastes a lot like an analog clove.
