So, I'm checking through my voice mails today. I don't check them often. I work in an environment where I am surrounded by several hundred people taking calls all day long, so once I'm off work I don't tend to want to talk on the phone much.

The owner's (Katy and Clark) of http://www.nicoticket.com had called to wish me a happy birthday and let me know they were slipping in a extra little something.

Now c'mon, when was the last time a vendor called you to wish you a happy birthday with absolutely 0 prompting to do so. Hell, I didn't even know how they found out it was my birthday (although it could have been facebook, I don't make it a secret).

Anyways, thank you both for the call! You guys are truly outstanding!!!!

Look at the bottom of the "Forums" page; it lists everyone with a birthday today (based, of course, on the lie you told when you signed up to prove you were 18 (or is it 21?))

Honestly, I had one of those "random acts of kindness" moments and noticed it was your birthday here on ECF (see birthdays below). I saw the name and I was like "damn, haven't talked to him in a minute" - so I put the word out to get ahold of you, you got ahold of me via PM on Nu-Vapor.com, and boom... decided to pick up the phone and say hey.

We've never been particularly fond of "stiff business transactions." Katy and I like to think we're "down to earth people" who do our best to "never forget there is a human being, with a life, successes, struggles" that is receiving the liquid. For us, the community and people like yourself are immeasurably MORE IMPORTANT than the contents of the bottles, or the dollars we make producing them. I always try to dedicate a small part of my day to doing something "good for the world" - your number came up on your birthday. Happy Birthday - and thanks for stopping in and saying "HEY." Always good to "see your face!"
