Hi everyone.

I wanted to thank everyone for the great info on this site, it has really helped me figure out what type of pv to get for my first time(a 902 from mv btw). With the info ive gotten from here, it really answered alot of questions i didnt even know i needed to ask, like about the tobacco flavoured liquids(unfortunantely i bought the strongest sounding stuff i could before i found out that it wouldnt be what i was expecting... lol) and so on. So yeah thanks guys and hopefully you guys will be able to answer a few questions for me... Oh and btw i ordered my kit a few days ago, but since i live in Australia itl be ages before i see it...


1. With the 902, is the blue foam mod a mod that should/can be done on it?

2.What voltage does the 902 run at? Ive gotten a few "i think its 3.7" mentions on here, but i couldnt find anything concrete

3.I noticed on mv that they are selling dual coil cartos... Are these just stronger burning cartos or what? Any info or mini reviews on that would be greatly appreciated

4. Can someone reccomend any good starter liquids for me from mv? Im afraid atm i can only buy from mv since im not sure which companies can ship here without customs hassles

5. On the 902, im curious of what mods can be done on it; i see alot of mentions on the 510s sidesho etc but not on the 902... A bit of a confuser for me...

Congrats on your purchase but I think you are talking about the 901. Here is my opinions based on the 901.

1. With the 902, is the blue foam mod a mod that should/can be done on it? No the mod is not neccessary, many do it to help with the burnt taste and they say it absorbs better.

2.What voltage does the 902 run at? Ive gotten a few "i think its 3.7" mentions on here, but i couldnt find anything concrete. The 901 runs at 3.7v but is only a 280mah battery.

Dual cartos and LR are not recommended for batteries under 650mah as they will drastically cut down on your useafe time due to the low mah.

Not that bad though from what ive read, mv seems to be a great supplier... You will get hundreds of recommendations on this one. You just need to get some sample and find what you like.

5. On the 902, im curious of what mods can be done on it; i see alot of mentions on the 510s sidesho etc but not on the 902... A bit of a confuser for me... Not much modding on these if any do to the small battery size. Upgrade to a bigger battery and you will have many more options.

They are asking about 902, not 901

I read that the 902 is 510 threaded. I do not know the mah or voltage. 510 is around 3.4v. One site said the 902's battery charge length is 180mah, same as a standard 510

They say its carts are 35% bigger than 510. MV sells pieces of blue foam. Buy some and try it. I imagine you will have to cut it to fit.

You should not use dual coil cartos on a slim battery. Get a Riva 510 or Ego or anything else with 450mah+ battery if you want to use LR cartomizers or atomizers. For a slim 510-threaded ecig I recommend Boge standard resistance cartomizers and be real careful to avoid leaks if you have auto batteries. Manual 510 is totally sealed on the threaded end but all autos have a hole there and a necessary drag sensor right inside that hole.

Liquids - no I have never bought from mv. I recommend thin juices with cartomizers, no more than 20% VG works best for me to get long good performance.

Sweet thanks for that. I was getting confused with why modernvapor would name a 901 902 lol

But yeah, stay away from the dual coil cartos when i try them and ill have to problems on the battery front since i only bought manuals...
