Thanks for the forum and all your (conflicting<grin>) views and opinions.

I'm a really slow typer and pretty much anti-social so I'll probably just slide slowly back into lurk mode. Just wanted to say a big thanks first though, to all of you that have contributed such great information to a fantastic forum. You all made a big difference to my life & probably many others.

I never meant to quit smoking. I love(d) cigs was just p*ssed about another $10 carton increase coming in July. Saw an e-cig ad (cheaper than smoking - LOL) & ended up here. Accidently quit the first day I got my ecig - loving it. Already spent more than it would cost in 6 months of analogs, going to have to slow down soon or hubby will kill me.

Time to go thank the suppliers

Smoke free since May 28th 2009

I'm going to try not asking too many questions at first but I did just ask one about batteries if you have any advice

I still can't believe I've quit cigs - I tried in the past & never made it - this time I was just thinking about saving money but quit by accident & not even the slightest craving.

Hubby is shocked too - but because I have been messing with refils, dripping, dipping etc it's probably going to be a long time before I can get him to try - too much messing about...

He took my shringes off me too when I stabbed myself on the first attempt at refilling LOL

I think I quit easier because I was using 36mg for the first few days - I'm down to about 12mg now.

Ginger, If it makes you feel any better, my wife is gonna kill me too. However, she cannot believe I quit, so there is a balance to what she says about my spending.
What was your question about batteries>?

I just quit smoking.... I am on day 3.... no nicotine, not sure how long i can hold out. You guys really give me hope that I can quit lighting up. I just ordered a 901, hoping it comes in in time. I really really appreciate all the info that I have gotten from this forum to aid my decision. I just want to tell you guys that you rock and I hope someone see my message and realizes what they are doing for people out there.

if I may give some advice...

Have spare atomizers and batteries at all times, just in case.

Yours may last forever but it's always better to be prepared...Think of it as making sure you have a spare lighter.

Everything I bought Stateside took 2 working days to arrive & 6 days from China. I'd get ordering spares as soon as you decide you like the e-cig. I had one battery fail & wouldn't have made it without the extras models I bought.

Ok off to buy more toys, I need a bit more of a security cushion than I currently have.

Ginger! I just read a story online about Florida upping the Tobacco tax. Good for you on avoiding it!
