Short version:
A couple of weeks ago I bought a brand new BB from a private party. I thought it worked perfectly for about a week and then I had to back the atomizer off about 1/4 turn to get it vaping. I posted on the Alt Smoke thread seeking advice to fix (there was a very limited contact area). After a couple of PM exchanges, Chad from AS said, "Send it to me. The silica insulator on the atty connector is weak. This requires me to completely rebuild the unit. No worries I will most likely ship it back out the day I receive it from you." I sent it to him on the 28th. I got it back today.
My repaired BB absolutely rocks! It turn out it wasn't working perfectly before, though I had no complaints. The repaired silica insulator causes this thing to produce huge vapor.
I so appreciate Chad's approach to this problem. I didn't expect him to repair it and am grateful that he did. I'm thrilled with the BB and will most definitely be doing business with Alt Smoke in the future.
