First of all I would like to say thanks for everyones help. I have read so many posts and learned so much. I know I will have plenty of questions in the future. But for now I would like to say thanks!!

vaping is a different world. I am a newbie. I received my Kanger Evod in the mail Wednesday. I messed around a bit with it, trying out different sample bottles of juice. I decided 18mg of nicotine was right for me. I only had one 5ml bottle of 18mg. So I had to make another order. But now I am thinking I might need 24mg also. Maybe I need to make another order in the near future!! I hope I get the credit card bill before my husband does....lol.

I smoke about 30 cigs a day, Marlboro light 100's, for 25 years. I have tried nicotine gum and patches with absolutely no success in the past. At the beginning of the year I bought a Volt E-cig and tried to quit then. I don't think it was strong enough. I only made it for a few days. I really want to quit so I am trying again. I smoked 15 cigs Thursday, 10 Friday and yesterday I had 6. I really hope I can do this!! I am so excited! Wish me luck.

Thanks again,
Tina

Good luck to you - sounds like you're off to a great start!

I smoked 37 years, 1ppd, and have been analog free for I think about 6 weeks. Now and then I really want a drag, so the other day I had a hit from my husband's cig - ICK!!! Not likely to do that again! The taste is so much better with an ecig.

You're almost there!

Congrats Tina. It's a journey. I smoked 2 PAD, PM Blues, and 24 mg was the starting point. Did that for a week and went down to 18 mg. After 16 weeks without a stinkie I am using mostly 12 mg. I think that's my sweet point. A few craving, but a vape or three and they pass. Hang in there and good luck.

Young grass hopper luck has nothing to do with it; you have been trained in the art of e-cig you have been an excellent student that you are already a MASTER in the skills.

You have over come many obstacles in your path young Grass Hopper to fulfill your desires. I have faith that you will overcome whatever comes before you now!

For you are TINA a master in the art of e-cigs.

Go on your journey seek the truth; you don't need cigs and you don't want cigs young Grass Hopper.

It is time for us to depart you must go into this journey alone for now others will train you on your journey.

Give yourself time to adjust. There's a withdrawal from tobacco. Even with other nic. Some do it all at once, others cut down gradually. Do what works for you.

Some of my favorite stories here are "HEY!!!! I forgot to smoke yesterday!". So be aware, but don't get so hung up on schedules that you sabotage the effort either.

That's not to say you can't set a quit date and stick to it. That works for many. Worked for me. Just make sure you set your method up so it's a success and not unreasonable for you.

So, basically, Good Luck! Don't quit quitting either. Glad you're back to e-cigs.

It was hard at first for my wife and I to do this, but we helped each other out and that made it possible.

    Best of Luck Mystary,

you are doing it pretty much like I did. Just cut back until the smokes are gone. At the end I was smoking 1 cig a day. Sometimes just a half would do the trick. Once the smokes were all gone. I really didn't have too much of an issue as long as I had my vape. I use 24mg and I can tell when I need it. As your newly quitting if you have a flavor you think you hate save it until after your taste buds settle down from quitting and try it again. I am digging a blend I hated just a week ago. Could be steeping, or it might be the taste buds I am not sure.
