I wonder if they have a hall of fame that they keep all of the beat to death Provaris.

Would not be surprised at all. Or at least pictures. I would guess with how organized these people are they take pictures at all stages in the repair process, especially when they open the box and receive the device on returns. That way, also, if there's any dispute, every one is covered.

My biggest problem with a couple of PV"s I had before were the threads stripping way to easily. They still work I just can't put anything on them. What sold me on the Provari was the stainless steel threads vs the brass that some use.
