What am I thankful for?
Let me write it down.
I'm thankful to make someone smile,
when they're wearing a frown.
I'm thankful for my kitty cats,
though sometimes they drive me mad.
I'm thankful for my group of friends,
My siblings, and my mom and dad.

she stands right by my side.
And thankful that many years ago,

While sitting here vaping, and "surfing the net"
With all the new "gadgets" I'll soon be in more debt.
Why, oh why, must they make such nice stuff
Not buying anything, will surely be rough.
When I look at the mods, that I already own,
I realize that I have no reason to groan.
I'm thankful and know, I don't need any more,
It's time for me to go to the local vape store

I really must try to find some willpower.
Stop looking at new stuff hour after hour.
My credit cards' melted, my wallet is dry.
Stand on the highway with a sign, I may try.
"Will work for vape stuff" is what it'll say.
Or maybe I'll ask for a loan 'till payday.

But really I'm only making a jest.
I have all I need, a lot more than the rest.
So thankful I am for all that I've got.
Some given to me, and some that I've bought.
I'm also thankful for those that I've met.
Friends on the forum, that I'll never forget.
So thanks everyone, for being so nice.

Perhaps I'll consult
With my local priest
Maybe my spending will then be decreased

I've got the answer,

I'm thankful for the parents I had
Who loved me even the times I was bad.
They always were loving and so very caring
And taught us about the importance of sharing.

We didn't have money, no we weren't wealthy
But they always made sure that we all were healthy
They raised us with values that still to this day
Keep us from trouble or going astray

Yes I'm thankful for my dear old mom and dad
Though this time of year, I get pretty sad
For they're no longer with us, both have "passed on"
And each day I wish that they weren't gone.

So be thankful for loved ones still in your life
Your mother, your father, your husband, or wife
Tell them you love them and give them a kiss
For they'll come a day when they'll surely be missed.
