The 10 Commandments of the CE4+

So sayeth the noob, with knowledge he hath received after two days of usage.

1. Thou shalt not fill it with juices too thick
2. Thou shalt fill to just under the wicks
3. Thou shalt try to keep it upright so as not to oversoak the wicks
4. Thou shalt be sure to turn it briefly upside down or tilt it prior to burning
5. Thou shalt top it off when it goes below half
6. Thou shalt take a few puffs without burning if you get a nasty taste
7. Thou shalt clean the bottom of the dripper tip whenever you remove it and put it back
8. Thou shalt ensure you get a good seal with the dripper tip
9. Thou shalt not screw the dripper tip on too hard, or the seal will become weak
10. Thou shalt never, ever squeeze or pull too hard on the tank, since it's not glued to the bottom

Do these things, and I say to you it should be tasty and convenient. Do them not and the CE4+ will surely burn or break.

Good commandments.

I didn't know about #3, not oversoaking the wicks. I've been laying my eGo on its side, thinking that soaking the wicks is a good thing. I'll try it the other way and see if it makes any difference.

That's the most interesting one. Ever since I stopped letting them soak at all times it has stopped with the most horrible of the burning. Or, if they do soak a lot, I'll turn it right side up and let the juice collect for about 30 seconds, then vape.

lol i have been using these for a few days now too and i absolutely love them. I haven't really been paying attention to what i have been doing but i know i have definitely broken #3 and 5 but so far no problems

I disagree with #s 2, 3 and maybe 5. #2-I always fill mine up above the wick/coil. It vapes great when full, this is my favorite carto. I can hold this upside down and vape and it works great and doesn't leak. #3-I almost always lay it down. I don't have issues with leakage or burnt tasting juice. #5-optionalyou don't have to refill just because you are below 1/2 just tip it to wet the wick. As long as it has juice you can vape it.

When I first got these I didn't realize they were threaded on the drip tip end and I pulled the tip out without unthreading it(they have very shallow threads). It never leaked after that so...not a recommended procedure but these things are very resilient.

Urge, I'm not really getting it. When I stopped flooding the wicks I stopped getting burn...for about 50 or 60 puffs. Then it started again. No matter what I do, it seems about 1/5th or so puffs tastes off.

Maybe they're not good for rapid chain vapers.

I am using the Vision eGo CE4+ Clearomizer from Discount Vapers. Maybe it is due to manufacturing diffs.
