…for me.

…so far.

I’ve tried a lot of different e-liquids from all over the spectrum. Including every flavor from Halo, Johnson’s Creek, and ECOpure, and many from Litecig, Vapor4Life, Madvapes, Decadent, Totally Wicked, Ms. T, Tasty Vapor, Dekang, Puresmoker and others. After all the dust settled I found I really liked about 10 or 12 of the *brazilian* or so e-liquids I’d tried. After a while of vaping those I found that I kept going back to only 6 (or 8). So, even if everyone likes different things, here is my review of my 6 (or 8) favorites. I primarily vape 18mg e-liquids in KR808D-1 cartomizers.

1. Nobacco Bananas Foster / Ms. T’s Bananas Foster Coffee
This has become my main vape. I fell in love with Ms. T’s BFC a long time ago. It has a very full and rich flavor to it – very banana and very coffee. It lead me to try a lot of banana flavors thinking maybe banana flavors were just full flavored and full bodied flavors. They are not. I also tried Tasty Vapor’s Bananas Foster but found the balance didn’t quite suit me – too much cinnamon I think. After I’d been vaping this for awhile I came across Vapor4Life’s new Bananas Foster flavor. The Nobacco one was a solid bananas foster flavor, creamy, with just a hint of liquor and cinnamon or brown sugar. Coming off Ms. T’s I was amazed at how bananas foster like the V4L flavor was – but vaping it regularly I seemed to also have a need to switch back and forth with the very different Ms. T flavor. I’ve come to use a mix as my favorite vape – about 75% Nobacco and 25% Ms. T’s. I love this stuff.

2. Nobacco Mountain Do
Be warned, a lot of people love this flavor, and a lot of people seem to not like it too. If you don’t like “perfumey” vapes, this one isn’t for you. It is one of the few flavors I’ve found that doesn’t seem to be too weak, as so many flavors are. It is reminiscent of Mt. Dew soda, and has that same sweet/sour aspect of the soda. However it is also pretty floral and certainly not an exact match for the soda. It’s a great juice and a very unique flavor – it makes an excellent change up from just about anything else.

3. Decadent Habana Reserve
This is from the Totally Wicked D.V. line. It is advertised as a tobacco-type flavor but it is derived from entirely non-tobacco herbal flavorings. It is a little bit bitter, very herbal, and totally unique. It’s not sweet at all. It also is not “grassy” at all (some flavors, particularly “Camel” branded stuff, tastes like lawn clippings to me). This makes for an excellent all day vape if you aren’t a fan of sweet flavors or burn out easily on other sour and fruity types of flavors. This is another very unique vape, and complex enough to keep things interesting for your pallet.

4. Halo Freedom
Another tobacco flavor, but not at all like Habana Reserve. I love this one because it is incredibly smooth and has a cool-tasting aspect to it, but not menthol at all. I really don’t want to mislead anyone that it has any mint or anything to it – it does not, it just tastes…cool somehow. It’s easily the smoothest of my favorite liquids. The tobacco aspect is mild and clean tasting. It defies description because I can't really compare it to the many other tobacco flavors I’ve tried. But if you search the forums you’ll find there is no shortage of recommendations for this flavor.

5. Johnson Creek Island / Johnson Creek Summer Peach
Island has been bashed on by a lot of people who say it tastes like sunscreen. It does. A lot of people really hate that. I love it. It reminds me of the beach, which is what I suppose it is supposed to do. If you don’t like the smell of paba and tanning oil you will not like this one. For me it’s like kissing a bikini clad beauty on her sweaty sunscreened lips after she’s sipped on some pina colada. Yummy. There isn’t quite enough of the fruity aspect that I’d like it to have. I’ve found that it mixes excellently, and gets the missing fruity aspect from, 50/50 with Johnson Creek Summer Peach. Summer Peach is, in my opinion, just an okay juice on its own – there are better peaches out there, like the very peachy Nobacco Peach from V4L. But Summer Peach has that odd smoky sweet aspect to it that is found in all of the original Johnson Creek line, and it blends perfectly with Island – adding the fruity hint and a touch of that funky Johnson Creek sweetness.

6. Nhaler Watermelon Lung
In general, I don’t find Watermelon flavors to be particularly impressive. And that is still true here, but after vaping plenty of coconut, peach, orange, cherry, and other fruity flavors, I’ve found that, for me, watermelon vapes make a good change up. They are generally mild and just a hair sweet without much tang to them whatever. It’s a light flavor and so not particularly noteworthy, but it just hits the spot. It is a good pallet cleaning vape and a nice change from my other favorites. I found Totally Wicked watermelon to be oddly spicy, and Nobacco Watermelon to be better but not quite smooth enough. The Lung line from Nhaler is advertised to contain a mix of supposedly lung-healthy ingredients, which is also a very appealing idea. I find this juice perfect for a nice, mild, low-nic, nighttime vape.

1. Tasty Vapor Tobacco - HATED it when I first got it. I was so disappointed because of the great reviews. Let it sit for two weeks. Loved it. I don't know what happened in that two weeks it was sitting but it is my favorite tobacco vape right now.

2. LiquidXpress Flue Cured
3. Viking Vapor Butterscotch (double flavor)
4. Puresmoker Blueberry - REAL blueberry flavor, not candy blueberry flavor

Tasty Vapor states that they mix all of their e-juice fresh when you place an order--and I believe them. It seems all of the juice I get from there needs to be 'aged' for a while before it reaches it's full flavor. And then--nom,nom, nom:D

I agree that Tasty Vapor Tobacco deserves to be on my list. I love that stuff, it is probably one of the best tobacco flavors I've tried. A nice, full, oriental tobacco flavor and there isn't anything like it out there. The only reason it isn't on my list is because I'm trying to stay away from things derived directly from tobacco (except if nic is derived from tobacco, but hey, that is sort of an essential ingredient). It is kind of the same reason Lung juice made the list - I wanted a possibly "healthier" vape I could use regularly.

As far as Totally Wicked - I don't really get the hype about them in general, their stuff is fine, if it has high nic it seems spicier than other brands (which I don't like), but other than that it is just okay to me. EXCEPT their D.V. line. Decadent Vapors is worth raving about, and now that TW is the only DV vendor I know of I keep them near the top of my vendor list for that reason.

I've been intending to try the liquidXpress honey flue cured, but it was out of stock last time I checked due to a formula mix up. May have been fixed by now, I'll have to check it out.

Tasty Vapor Strawberry Cheesecake turns heads! I've been vaping it almost exclusively the last month because I keep getting comments. Plus, a lot of those comments are coming from non-smokers that turn their noses up at cigarette smoke, but love the smell of the SC.

I was at a local tavern the other day and took a few puffs. Within moments the questions started and people were checking out my Chuck and getting hungry <smile>. It sure works well for promotions, I should get commissions.

I'm all about Alien Visions.

I've tried "Boba's Bounty", "Flue Cured", and "Marly" from them, and they're all amazing. Best tobacco flavors I've tried.

I'm also partial to the regular Dekang Menthol. Has a really nice menthol flavor, with a hint of mint. Definitely not overbearing. Very relaxing flavor.

I guess that's only 4, but those 4 will probably be my "core" liquids I use from now on.

I tried TV's Blueberry Cheesecake and didn't really like it. I think it was whatever flavor they use for the "cake" or sweet bread-iness aspect. Not that it tastes like bread at all, but I sensed the same thing in Ms. T's French Toast (a top seller that many many people love) and I didn't like that either. I stay away from pastry related stuff now. Not that Cheesecake is a pastry (or is it?), but you get the point.

My wife (non-smoker) has asked me to vape AC in our bedroom as an air freshener. We have a mold problem in the walls which has become detectable to the nose, and she loves the cinnamon vapor, plus it is the only one so far that produces a scent powerful enough to cover the mold smell. :D

Atomic Cinnacide is intense. If someone is looking for strong flavor or flavor related throat hit that is the way to go for sure - but if you aren't a cinnamon candy lover it may be too much for a regular vape. It was too much for me, irritated my lungs for some reason. Of course, if you are a cinnamon candy lover, AC is the one to beat.

i like freedom from halo, but my fave is black tea from vpl, i thought it would be menthol since that is what i smoked for 15 years, but nope turned out its black tea which in no way tastes like menthol

Yea, the black tea from V4L is a great juice. Unless you actually meant "vpl", in which case I'm not sure who that is - but anyway, the black tea is a nice herbal flavor with a sugar sweetened tea taste to it. I use it all the time to cut one of my favorites, Habana Reserve, and add a touch a smooth sweetness to the deliciously bitter Habana Reserve. Yum.
