This thing fought me the entire way....but I beat it into submission.

I like the A2 from Bulli a LOT, but I don't like the length stuck on the end of an already long battery so I did a side by side using leftover copper tubing/fittings.

The battery is a 14500 and (apologizing for the shape my hands are in) is hand friendly.

I still have to mod the adapter for the Bottle tank mod so it's flush, but that's for another day. Now, I clear my desk and take a break from modding so my hands can heal. It's hell getting old; I used to do this type of work all day every day without an issue.....not so now.

I've got two mods to build and want to be totally prepped...they will my Magnum Opus (at least for me)

Oh..one last project:

I can haz gooseneck :p

More a proof of concept than a finished work.

I'm searching for a smaller, more flexible gooseneck. This was from an old lamp...you use what you got.

Hey para, your A2 copper is outstanding. Did you solder a rod between tubes and paint it copper?
I was going to do something like that but use a PTN0450 below the atty.

???

It's all copper; not sure about a rod. I used .015" solder wire because I wanted to get the solder joints as invisible as I could. The top piece that holds the recessed batt connetor was a struggle for some reason and I HATE that the solder shows like that. I am planning on adding a copper ring to that joint to hide the solder line and then put a sleeve on top that will move up and down so whatever I attach will always be flush on the bottom. I did it with my Ghetto AFS and it works really well.

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone...it helps mask the pain in my hands. lol

 Is it 3.7 or did you cram something into the bottom chamber?

I'm still stuck on my side by side,,, so I'm officially jealous.

I'll leave all that boost up stuff to ya'll; that stuff is Greek to me. Just a 3.7v w/LR for me. I'm about half done with the outer sleeve for the batt connector tube. I shoulda thought of that already; it's just what it needs to clean it up and provide add'l function.

Finished pics when I'm done with the sleeve

Answering a PM: The switch makes continuity on the negative and positive is at the bottom of the tube. The positive batt connector is connected to the positive battery contact via wire that crosses through the tubes at the very bottom. The surface contact between the two tubes is about 1mm so I made sure the wire and the hole smaller so they would remain hidden

This is one of those mods where you think to yourself "Why didnt I think of that?" As you know Para, I love the A2 as well but the one drawback is definitely its length. Even when I put it on my p10 it looks pretty crazy, I have not measured it all together but it has to be like 9 inches long when all together and thats on a tiny little p10 imagine the a2 on a larger mod. This really is some smart thinking on your part. Looks like I need to stock up on some more malty toffee, that way i have some bargaining chips. I wish I could do half of what you do. Nice Job man.

What did you use foor bottom caps Para? Everything else seems clear, just can figure that bottom out....

The battery end cap is an end plug.....just the opposite of the end cap that houses the switch. Home Depot has them by the box but Lowe's doesn't carry it. The cap on the atty side had to be made since there's no end plug that size. I took an extra end plug and cut/filed it to size and tacked it on the end.
