I would like to get this running again on the US site, at the moment though it is a little hard with the discount stuck as high as 20%. I would like your thoughts on this, we could offer 15% off with the code plus the code owner earns 5%, I know a lot of you guys recommend vendors and it's always nice to get a bit back in the pocket. Thoughts?

I saw it on the US site, and created a 'code' to pass around to those I'm referring... I just haven't had the pleasure of time to type out my 'what I've already learned' to share with everyone I'm bragging to y'all about... so of course, it isn't paying off or anything. I love the idea, but really, ya don't have to pay ME to brag on you guys ;o)

20% off is the way for me. I will refer (and DO refer) people all day long to Liberty Flights BECAUSE I believe in LF and the products and the people behind the LF name. Period.

I love having 20% off my purchases at LF. This 20% keep you competitive, and in many cases, below other competitors, as when it comes to pricing. Pricing is important to me. I shop around. Don't kid yourself. I do not have a money tree and pricing matters a great deal to me.

I also factor in the international fees required by my credit card when I purchase from LF. The international fees and shipping all get rolled into one number for me. See - I really am watching my pennies.

Thank you for reading my feedback,

Abe,

I've referred a lot of people to LF just because of the 20% off. It's an excellent place for everybody to get quality equipment at great prices. I know it helped me start my boys vaping and I've already passed the website address around at work (I didn't get any bus cards with my order to hand out).

I have worked in affiliate marketing for twelve years, this is how I see it; Affiliate programs are a great way to generate new customers from the HUGE mass of people using the internet who haven't yet heard about ecigs/libertyflights or ECF. It's apples and oranges really to compare what your current customer base can do for you by recommendations or reviews to what a well placed text ad on a popular blog or high traffic website could do for you.

If I were you, I'd come up with some type of reward system for current customers who refer your website & products - but keep it separate from an affiliate program. Most serious marketers, bloggers, and websites will be more willing to promote you and your products for higher commissions than for a lower one.

Now, you may only want the current ecig bloggers/reviewers and your current customers to promote you - and that is all fine and good, but you can simply use a reward based system for that. A true affiliate program would & will welcome all types of bloggers and site owners to put up banner ads & info about your products.

I don't like affiliate programs, period. I recommend your site all the time because I think you're good, not because I want to gain from it. The affiliation breaks this trust, IMO. As a customer, I never trust people who get a kickback from recommending a vendor.

I agree too. I sometimes purposely stay away from site that does that. Just offer great products and great prices and they will come.

I question how an affiliate program for LF members, with ECF members, would work.

We get new people coming into ECF asking questions. How many times have I, and numerous other LF members, referred them to Liberty Flights? It is not unusual for several of us to refer the questioner / new member to LF. Who / how - would the affiliate referral work? I don't think it would. I don't see how it could.

That new member is confused and trying to find answers to questions and a good supplier. They are not going to know which one of us to credit in the affiliate program. We do not refer them to LF because we get a kick back. We refer them to LF because we believe that is the right thing to do.

Right now, we are getting the ECF discount (20%). We also have the option of doing reviews (49cents each). That discount and that review credit is nothing to sneeze at. I deeply appreciate it.

BUT...without a quality product, good customer support, support here on the ECF forum, good prices to start with, and reasonable shipping fees....That Discount and Review Credit would not matter to me.

In other words, for me, it is the total package with makes up Liberty Flights.
Product / Support / Prices / Shipping / Discount / Review Credits = Liberty Flights.

I don't want LF to go into the red. I want you in business for a long, long time. I will do whatever I can to assure that happens. I strongly suspect I am not alone in my feelings of support for Liberty Flights.
