A review of the Cascade by Vaporesso

Thanks to Eight Vape for having such a great price on this tank, I ended up giving less than I expected. After the marked down price and then the discount the final Cascade price was $24.76 A super bargain and so worth it. With the GT coil adaptor the Cascade can use two different types of coil and doing this give the tank the ability to house 5 or 6 different coils. Anyone is bound to find a favorite with all of them to choose from. The tank is put together very well and it is so simple to fill on the go. It vapes like a real work horse and is one of the best tanks I have ever used for flavor. I’ve been vaping it with the 0.15ohm GTM 8 Coil. The wife keeps bugging about clouding out the TV, it’s a 55” and I feel certain I could cover a 70 or 90 inch TV with ease.

I’m vaping the Cascade tank on top of my IPV 8 (another 8Vape super deal) I’m using max VG California Dream juice at 2.5 MG/ML nicotine. The IPV is set at 58.5 Watts. The flavor is super smooth and clean I can taste each one of the components of the juice, I haven’t been able to produce a hot or dry hit even raising the watts as high as 85. All in all a great buy, and a really well made tank. 7 ml is just my style I like only having to fill my tank 4 or 5 times a day.

The style and color of the tank are outstanding, I got the blue one and it’s a deep rich blue that make the open tank area pop with the color of the juice inside. It’s a very nice look overall.

As impressed as I am with the 0.15ohm GTM 8 Coil it pales in comparison to the flavor and IMHO quality and density of cloud I get from the 0.4ohm GTM 2 Coil. This thing is amazing. I just had to try it out. I’m lovin the heck out of this.

I really like this tank as well for great flavor. Although, I prefer the GTM-2 or the GT4 or GT6 for more taste. The one thing I don't quite understand is that the description says that the juice vault is separated from the coil vault. That can't actually be true or the juice would never get to the coil. I guess it's a good thing I don't actually have to understand something to use it.

I've had mine for 2-3 months now & am loving the Vaporesso Cascade!

Believe it or not, for all of it's power potential, many reviewers stated that 135W was the 'sweet spot'. Wow, I couldn't take a fraction of a vape at that wattage, so went with the minimum recommended for the GTM8 coils at 80W. Even there, still made me cough. TBH, have never been a fan of high wattage vaping or blowing huge clouds, rather a flavor chaser.:)

Today, am using the included GT adapter & .50 ohm GT cCELL ceramic coils (oddly was made for the NRG tank, yet wouldn't fire or either of the two). Vaping some great DIY Flavor Apprentice Strawberry Ripe at the recommended max for coil at 25W & loving it! Plus doesn't eat my batteries alive!:D

Best high capacity tank I've ever owned, the rest were flavor killers. Not the Vaporesso Cascade, wished I had purchased another, rather than the SMOK TFV12 Cloud Beast King. If there's any single tank that's the killer of that model, the Cascade is the One!

I just received the Cascade Baby. Came with the Vaporesso Armour Pro kit I ordered. I started with the pre-installed coil...the .18 GT mesh core. I like to start out a new coil on low wattage. Read it was a good idea to break them in. Anyway, my first puff at 35 watts, I couldn't believe the cloud production. And as I used it more, and went up in watts, the flavor was there too. I read (again) that the wire inside the mesh coil is SS316L and you can use it with TC, but I have seen varying opinions about that, so I'm not going to risk it.

I asked Vaporesso Tech Support about the coil metals. This was their answer:

Dear Michael,

Very glad for your choosing Vaporesso and sorry to hear your trouble.

The metal type of GT core is Nickel-chromium alloy and you can not vape under TC mode, but our GT ccell core`s wire is SS, then you can vape under TC mode.

Enjoy your vaping..

Best Regards

Delia Wu

The good news is that the Ccell works great in TC mode. I hope that clears things up for you.

HOLY GOONESS those clouds made me laugh, they are so impressive.

Sorry, there is not a single person who would cause me to believe (and I got a cascade tank with a kit and it is SO NOT a MTL tank, frankly) that that is a MTL device.

It's not. I'd probably have to fill up 90% of it with clay and bake it into a kiln to turn it into a MTL device. LOL.
