Ok I have had my GGTS for about 5 months and my GGTS since the beginning of April and my AVS since the end of April and I love them both.

While the AVS and 808 cartos is super nice I still find my self going back to dripping on a 801 or 901 @ 6V and love that more than anything.

I still setup the GGTS with my AVS from time to time but the experience with the 801/901 is just .... for me.

Thank you for listening.

You might want to try the LR 901 Cartomizers from Ikenvape. They are true 901 spec so no punching needed and the vape in my AVS2 is amazing for a carto. I honestly can't even compare it to a punched 808 as for my old taste buds, there isn't any comparison.

Like juice, what one experiences with a carto differs from person to person but at only $1.75 each, you don't have to spend much to try them. The only issue is they are coated so you need to hit the exterior with some fine grit sand paper but it comes off rather easily.

I am hitting one as I type and continue to be more than impressed with them in the AVS. :)

Some juice (most juice?) will tend to soften said coating and muck of the flavor not to mention what said dissolved Chinese paint/laquer/plastic might do to the lungs over time. I personally have not dealt with this as I took a que from others on the GG forum and experience with the protective coating on 510 atties coming off in the UFS and spoiling the flavor.

I might add the vendor of the 901's mentioned was very explicit that he would not use the painted/coated surface in a tank environment either (he also said the same of my juice but it's what keeps me from tobacco). They are made to his specs but the finish and such are added at the factory by the Chinese so God knows what they use. Again, this was advice based on others experience but with my health as bad as it is at 57 Saturday, I don't need to add any wild cards!

It may ultimately be nothing more than a flavor issue versus a health issue but for a couple extra minutes to remove the coating, it's just one less thing to enter the already abused old body for me. :)
