Are you sure you've allowed him enough toilet time? That coil looks like an unattended public toilet after years of use. 
Looks like somebody didnt pay attention to the quality of his vape..that coil would've tasted bad long before getting this burnt...

he does it with all of them, rbas etc... so i'm trying to figure out what it is he's doing so we can prevent that... that's after a week or so of use, i've it in the rbas in less time.
basically... 25w, 70/30 VG/PG, short draws... premium juice, but i use the same juices and mine never get like that.
sometimes it's just the juice. darker juices will look like that despite not being burnt and taste just fine. also i've had some clear juices that turn dark from the heat that will look like that but not be burnt. juice getting darker during normal use form the heat is normal. You know it's burnt when it starts tasting funny
what wattage is he using?
Also "premium" juice is something people can say with no guideline lol any juice can be labeled as premium by anyone

My little suster has a habit of short tootle puffs, resulting in early coil burnout...not sucking any juice into the coil with her short puffs..Trying to convert her to DL but she's stubborn, tells me not to tell her how to vape LOL

lol it's a mystery to never be solved.
with that said. my best guess would be wattage and/or chain vaping. same coil same juice if someone is vaping at 30 watts and taking 1 hit every minute or so and the other is vaping 60 watts taking 5-6 hits in a row every minute then one would get burnt out much faster
Well, Cheallaigh said he's vaping at 25 watts. As far as 5-6 hits in a row every minute, I don't know if he's doing that. If so, it might be the key.
I picked up a Baby secondhand on Reddit, put it on a Pico that I also got 2nd hand, and I am *loving* the combo! My first mod was a Kanger Subbox Mini-C and while I still like it, I think the Pico/Baby combo may have become my new favorite combo.
yep 25w... premium as in i don't DiY so i'm paying for that extra sweetness, since i build usually having the extra sweetening means i change our wicks more often. i'll have to pay attention to see if he's quick chaining. got myself the gold BBB yesterday... i had to matchy matchy and all... gave my hubby the black one i had already to go with his gunmetal. he's going to the moose hunt camp next weekend for clearing trails and ice fishing, so got him a case... worked out sweetly with the tips i grabbed. note to self, i really should wipe them down before taking pics lmao.

May i ask, where have you been able to find the Q2 0.4 coils? And what wattage do you use them at?
I would be interested in the BBB if I could find a place that carries the 0.4 coils.
