I don't know about the best because I haven't seen them all but a friend that has a shop sells a lot of Phimis Velocities and he says he's had zero complaints. They look and feel very well made. And good price! I haven't tried one
The only issue I've had with clones.. And this goes for most rda clones I've bought, is the air holes having not been machined all the way down and the extra material cutting into the orings if they have to slide over them. So I just sand them down with my dremel. I don't know about authentics as I don't own any, but its a simple fix if you have that issue...and own a dremel. Or fine sand paper I guess would work too.
Just got the tobeco the other day. Took me a few builds but now it's doing pretty good. My only issue is an intense dislike for the little post tab that has to be lined up perfectly to get a flush fit on the top cap. Getting it lined up makes me crazy as I tend to do my dripping with the top cap off.
I have the Tobecco clone, mini velocity actually & im not at all impressed with the workmanship. It seems to be either bent or machined wrong since it wobbles when it's screwed onto either of my mods. My other atty's are fine. Maybe it's just the one I bought but disappointing regardless.
Tobeco clones are solid, especially the mini. They are cheap enough, no need to get the fasttech version. To me, that is TOO cheap and asking for trouble.
