When my brother and I were really young our favorite thing to do was watching a guy make candy and pouring it on a large metal table, the large bowl that the melted candy in was made of copper! I appreciate your concern. However, there is no need to get people in any sort of alarm about copper. EVERYONE YOU ARE PERFECTLY SAFE USING COPPER IN YOUR mod's.

You also make a goo...well actually you don't make a good arguement but, I still appreciate your concern for everyones health.

Copper stimulates the immune system to fight infections, repair injured tissues, and promote healing. Copper also helps to neutralize "free-radicals" which can cause severe damage to cells.

What concerns me is you threw up a link to a copper toxicity article on wikipedia which means you did, at least, a little research. So, you probably also saw the many benifits of ingesting copper but for some reason you didn't post a link to that. So, I am going to assume you are just in the mood for some constructive are possibly destructive debating or possibly you just want to argue. I don't know.

Got a trivia question for you. What is Copper, lots of Heat, Vegitable Glycerin, Propolyne Glycol, and Concentrated Flavoring used for?

They are used to make candy. Copper pots are best for candy making due to there great ability to dispurse heat.

Got another trivia question. What two metals can we find in our Electronic cigarette that have the same toxicity of copper?

It's nichol and chromium. Put them together and you have Nichrome. What is Nichrome? That is what your coil is made of. How hot does the coil get? I don't know but it glows red when burns dry.

How hot did my tube mod get, slighlty above room temp. So feel free to suck on all the pennies you want.

Sorry if you take offence to me pointing this out But with politicians and the FDA breathing down our backs I think extra care is needed to make vaping safe as possible. No need to give them fuel for the fire.

No doubt that copper has benefits as long as it is used in safe amounts just like silver has been proven to help the immune system but also is toxic if used beyond a safe level.

My main concern was if the copper oxidized extensively enough to produce the green-blue copper salts a acidic e juice can pick that up and it is the reason that unlined copper cookware is illegal to sell in quite a few states and countries. I did point out in a earlier post that if the e juice was below 7 Ph ( meaning it is acidic ) there might be a problem. So if copper cookware is so safe why have whole countries and quite a few states outlawed their sale unless they are lined with a non copper coating. But yes they are used in candy making because your not dealing with any acidic ingredients. Do you know the Ph of all Ejuices made?

Nichrome doesn't put out blue green copper salts (Verdigris). So i don't see how you can say they are the same toxicity.

Sorry i dont put nasty things like pennies in my mouth. But go right ahead if that floats your boat. But you should know that since 1982 they are 2.5% copper and 97.5% zinc. Also be careful not to swallow them your going to need them to pay for your patent.
