Another punch, similar to COV, is this one from VIP vapor. It has a cobalt tip that indeed stays sharp. It works, every time.

How many holes do you guys typically punch? I use mostly 50/50 but I do have somewhat is 80/20 or 70/30. Pg/vg

I vape 100% VG and punch 2 holes with a VIP vapor carto punch. Works great for me.
ill plan to upgrand to the VIP aluminium carto punch when this cheapo one gets dull. regardless that VIP v4 is bit pricey for a block of metal really....
I would definitely say use the SR 3.0 cartos with this because of the voltage range
Why would 3ohm be better than 2ohm?
3 ohms @ 4 volts is 5 watts / 1.3 amps
3 ohms @ 5.5 volts is 10 watts / 1.8 amps
2 ohms @ 4 volts is 8 watts / 2 amps (that's the lowest I go on any device)
2 ohms @ 5.5 volts is 15 watts/ 2.75 amps (that'll vape your face off!)
I realize the battery draw is higher but with only 2 watts avail above my starting point, I'd rather carry a couple extra batteries.

Actually it isn't because those other ones are going to have to be replaced, and more often than you think. That one does not have to be replaced so quickly. Mine is over a year old and still going strong with no deformity to the carto and I punch A LOT of cartos, at least 15 a week at times. The secret to longevity in a carto tank is actually your punch. You get good holes in your punch and your carto is less likely to flood and your o rings last a lot longer. It is the ONLY punch I have found so far that has a cobalt tip.
Yeah, it's personal preference. Dunno about you guys, but my SR Boges are more like 2.7-2.8 ohms, which puts the range at around 6-11W. I end up using just the upper half of the voltage range on the BB. They seem to last longer than the LRs. Nobody's gonna call the vape police on you for sticking LRs in there, though. You could crank the voltage all the way down and pop a Resurrector in there if that's what does it for you.

Will this be ok to use in the billet box?
Most of the tank is delrin, which is pretty inert and generally doesn't react with juice. The face is something else that I can't recall at the moment, but I remember Doug talking about how it's fancy food-grade stuff, and how the flat nature of it lessens the chance of cracking. In any case, I've had some of Mt. Baker's Ecto Cooler in one for about a week now with no ill effect, and that stuff will kill a polycarbonate clearo in that time...
As to your punching query: I use two holes with 70% VG juice. I've used one with 50/50 before. Can't speak to the high-PG stuff, as I'm more into giant clouds than throat hit...
So I've seen the Driptip Designz tips, awesome CF work there.
But...does anyone know where there's a DT out there that just "looks" like carbon fiber? I don't really feel like spending $30+ on a mouthpiece that'll be thrown in my pocket lol.

I've actually been using a plain black knucklehead drip tip most of the time. It's taller than a standard tip, which is nice, but most of it is flexible so I worry less about it getting abused in my pocket.

The one I got I special ordered with my specifications. He just put one up that is similar to the one I had made but it's black and silver, and absolutely gorgeous
Well thank you for giving him the design. I ordered the black and silver one. I think carbon fiber with kanthal wire (like he's done with other shapes) would look great in that shape too.
I definitely want to see how it looks once you get it!

This was my thought about the SR cartos, just personal preferences. . Plus I get a better taste out of my vg juices with the sr cartos, imo.
In the end I dont care about watts or volts, I just want taste and vapor

Somehow the wait was a blessing. If it had arrived promptly after ordering the customs charge would have been a lot harder to swallow! The man at the post office depot was very sympathetic about the charges.
