So, wonder if anyone can offer some help.

Long story short, I was hit by a car on Friday. Nothing serious, but I had my Billet Box in hand when it happened, and it went flying. It landed, and is still in one piece...however the sliding door seems to be fused. I cannot get it open for the life of me, and no one else can either.

Any quick fixes?

And yes, I am fine, thanks for asking....lol.

Sorry to hear about the wreck, glad you're OK!

As for the BB, haven't heard of anything like this before... You might try sticking it in the freezer for an hour or so, get everything to contract a bit and see if it loosens up.

If that works the hard part is figuring out where the sticking point is and what to do about it, because if you slide it back together after it warms up it will probably just get stuck again. But it's worth a shot....

Holy crap dude, it's good to hear you're alright!

As far as the door, is it dented or anything, or is it still leveled straight? I've noticed that pulling down on the door from the bottom rather that "pushing it down" from the top makes it glide a little smoother, maybe that'll help? With a little bit of effort anyway.

Doug would probably have a better answer (and maybe a solution) for you.

There is a dent which appears to be the issue, but I am no expert on this. I know Doug is crazy busy so dont want to bother him until I have to.

Sorry to hear about your accident dude, glad to hear you are ok.

I would say Vapian is right on the money! Put it in the freezer overnight. May be enough to get the door off for the time being anyways.
Is the channel the slide runs in a dove tail?? The repair may be it a little tricky regardless though as I'm sure the tolerances are quite close...

Wow man, sorry to hear about the accident. Glad you're okay, sounds like Vapian has the right idea, at least so you can get her opened up and see the extent of the damage. Glad you're okay again.

uh oh.

So I filled with a plastic syringe, but now when I take an unpowered draw, I get bubbles form the nitrile ball.
It's not leaking or anything, but I don't get bubbles from the carto holes (which are pretty large).

Is my tank FUBAR'd?

Pressing down on the front doesn't seem to give me bubbles on the carto holes either, just the ball. I can't get any bubbles from the carto at all for that matter. It's vaping fine, no burnt taste or anything, meh.

Can you roll the ball any with the syringe? May get it to reseat in a different spot and eliminate the bubbles.

I keep trying to take a picture of the dent but nothing seems to show up in the picture...tomorrow in natural light maybe.

:)

Is the door dented? Might try prying on the door with something plastic to see if it will slide. If it's hard plastic I would wrap it in a paper towel.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

As has nearly everyone, Kable. I'll almost miss them when they're gone... sigh...

Actually, eliquid does not freeze. It gets rather chilly, but it doesn't freeze at the temps of most of our freezers.

(didn't you already post that?)

(nope, wasn't me.)

(yes it was!)

(nah... was my evil twin.)
