Kat, the vendor is: 5 Pack of Boge SLOTTED 3 ohm 510 Cartomizers - Stainless Steel - Kidney Puncher **THANKS GOES TO NuLLMyndZ for sharing the link***

That link was shared with me. The OP didn't want to think they were spamming the forums, so they shared the link via PM. They are laser punched which I ordered (They were out of the slotted ones). Thank YOU for sharing us the links to them! It's just a manufacturing defect. It's going to happen.

-=J, Totally a manufacturer error. Sure Vapes is not at fault there. They have replied asking how many carts are like that. Thankfully just 1 is like it. I feel they will send me out another one with no issues. ;) I know about the disclaimer. :( But, I feel they will make it right, so I'm very happy!

Soooo.. Are you ready for some more interesting news?!?! So, I loaded up a new cart (Laser Punched correctly), filled up the cart with my yummy Strawberry/Bananna. And, nada! Nothing! It doesn't fire! Soooo, I removed that cart, and tried another cart. I filled up the cart and tank up again. Screw it down nice and tight. Still nada!! I'm like WTH?!?!

I check the ohms on both carts. ~3.1 They are great! The positive posts are nice and centered. When I have the cart loaded, I check continuity making sure that the negative is making contact. It's making contact. I then take off the drip tip, and check to see if I'm getting *any* voltage when I fire it up (Positive lead down the cart. Nada!

I check the BB w/o the tank. It's firing the correct voltage. Not sure if it's pushing out the amps tho. :( I need to call BB and have them send me a replacement.. :'(

I'm starting to think it's not my destiny to own a BB.. :'(

Murphy needs to stay away from me!! :p

Your luck really does suck. Just tell Doug to go ahead and send the new one to my address as your luck is too bad to own one. haha But no brother, I am glad they are all working it out for you.

Sure hope you do get to try a BB one day though, as they are wonderful!! :vapor: But now it is off to work.... :glare:

Good to see all the new BB owners enjoying their new beauties.

When I first got mine, I babied it much as one would a newborn. Even to the point of making sure to place it down on a micro fiber cloth, when not in my pocket. Kinda wanted to keep it new looking at least until I made it to the Vapalooza meet in Atlanta back in July.

Of course, after a while, the TLC gave way to my normal carelessness. Dropped it a few times without incident, stopped worrying about little insignificant surface scratches and such. Had planned on polishing it last weekend, but didn't get around to it. Good thing, it had a rough week lol. First, it slid off my dash in my work van, and hit squarely on a chunk of metal on the floorboard putting a nice little divot on the top edge. Then this morning, I drop it onto the gas stove top grates, amazingly only adding another little chunk. Was quite a spill:confused:

So this weekend, it's going to get the #600 sandpaper treatment. Sort of liberating in a way. Now I can just keep using this bullet proof workhorse and not worry so much about keeping it pretty.

Hello fellow Georgian, from Augusta myself! Looks like we are finally getting summer around here after the oddest July/August on record (now I am ready for it to go away....haha). Anyway, thought I would mention the little case I posted a while back. Looks like a cell phone case, but it is a zippered PSP Go soft case that fits the BB perfect and has a soft, padded interior. I am loving it. Amazon has them for $15. Also, if you own a dremel, they have some nice attachments for polishing.

Crap, I cannot delete posts...argh!

But if you don't wait TOO long, you can edit them. ;)

Oh Big Screen, and here I thought I was the only nutcase in town keeping my BB on a microfiber cloth at ALL times. Yep, held that cloth in my hand, even to vape it! I took it to a vape meet and had it all wrapped up in its soft plushy micro fiber coat. It was difficult when people wanted to "see" it (which c'mon, means TOUCH it and HOLD it!).

Then along came Jwraps. Ahhhh.... the joy of having it wrapped is liberating! Now I can go about being a child frolicking in the sprinklers on a hot day.

Metaphorically anyway.

Maybe I need a J Wrap so I won't be so paranoid about my BB. I do hate letting others hold it. We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false! :p I just hate covering up how beautiful it is, but maybe we must hides the precious.

OK, since I am having a restless night, how about someone giving me some cool tricks for battery removal from my precious BB. And then I promise no more LOTR lines. I would kill for some of those little ribbons under the batteries every time go to change them. So I end up using a little screwdriver to flick them up. But one of these days, it is gonna slip and will be ...... if I cause a scratch in that way.

Thanks,

-=J.....:2cool:....KLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ...crap I should sleep. 12.5 hr shifts suck without it.

Sweet. I just ordered a clear J-Wrap protector. Seems nice, but does it protect the corners any?

-=J

LOL, I was going to recommend the clear ones for you. No, the wraps don't cover the corners, but the corners don't scratch up! You're golden, your Drunkness. :D

Battery trick? Pop the door off and smack the box against your hand. It's the official DD-approved method. Prying with a tool could tear the battery insulation.

Wow, I gotta try again then. I tried that a couple of times at first and them beaches be tight! Thought I was gonna smash my hand in first. But your are right on the tearing off the isolation which is bad since the case is the circuit.

I take a styrofoam ( a flashlight packaging ), there has hole in the styrofoam, I put it in my hand and smack the battery out. Hit the stryrofoam, rather than hitting my hand

My hand do thank me. if there is a better ( cool tricks ) I'm interested
