Okie Dokie ... I'll admit publicly ... I'm sick! LOL! And a hopeless bargain hunter! BUT I always have my BB with me and when my car FORCES me off the road at my local Goodwill ... Ummmmmm ... I always look for something for my lil' BB friend! All but one of the following were Goodwill finds (and broke the bank at 50 cents or 95 cents). They all work great to protect BB when out and about ... And not IN my hand. Here are ... Ahemmmm ... A few ...

And this little neoprene case fits really nice ... I just need to cut a hole in the top for the drip tip ... And a fire button hole on the back ...

Thanks for the detail....haha...but just saying slots back and front would have worked. Unfortunately the back doesn't allow room for a cutout due to the additional leather required for the belt clip. And to move it lower would make for a taller case and possibly side gouging when sitting. But I do think side slots are doable and maybe increase the top flap width for additional protection. Giving an option for those with longer drip tips. Ok, short on time, so will pass that along today and see what comes out of this. Thanks for everyone's input.

When someone at Harvard writes a paper on the psychological profiles of people who provide way too much detail when describing things, they will include my photo in the header.

You could try moving both the slots and the strap to one side, instead of down the center. If you widen the actual interior of the case to make it a bit looser and easier to slide the BB in and out, the slots don't need to be centered. And the strap will work just as well even if you move it a centimeter or two to the side. I would definitely align the strap with the notches, so the strap covers the notches when secured, and therefore protects the small bit of the BB that the notches leave exposed.

Good luck!

Haha, I understand. Trust me, where I work that is also the case as there is very little room for error.

Yeah, talked with the manu today and just cannot come up with any alternative than side slots. The case need not be larger as it is already a loose fit (too loose front to back). Me, I am paranoid with my work environment and would definitely prefer a case that covers the drip tip (even if the benefit is just in my head). So I requested a full top width cover flap that is front to back closing with a small excess (5/8") to cover small drip tips. With the option of a cutout on one side for anyone wishing exposed tip.

Anyway, he is reworking the case from scratch, so will see what happens and cross my fingers.

Nice cases! I am currently using a soft case for a Sony PSP Go and it fits perfect with a small drip tip (and only $5). Just wanted something leather and hardier for a working environment (ok, we can go with manly...haha).

Again, apologies to be interrupting the B Box Holder Design Team...

And Kat - that things is, umm, very cute. I had the EXACT same thought that Akdare did. Do you have little "bedding" arrangements for ALL of your mods? Do any of them snore? ;-)

Yes, some of them do snore. But that's only the rattlesnakes. The B Box just purrs quietly.......

You know when it's really cold, at my house, it's a three dog night...at Kat's, it's a 3 MOD night...;)

Times say.... 27? ;)

And on THAT note, it's probably safe to assume that it's NEVER a night for just -

Since 9/28/2010 I have used numerous mods. If my memory serves me, I have purchased approximately 25 different mods, always hunting for the ultimate 'unicorn'. Beaucoups bucks guys and gals. I have had a fantastic time perusing ECF for thousands of hours reading, learning, selling, trading, following multi-page threads and vegging out - ECF has been an awesomely fun time suck for me!
Guess what? I finally found my 'unicorn' last spring. The BB. No surprise, huh? Almost all of my dozens of mods have been sold. I'm holding on to my ProVaris and my Gepetto Art 'Skull in Love'. They don't get any love any more - especially since I got my second BB. My partner is the same. All she ever uses anymore are her two BBs. Nothing else interests us now.
Doug Dino, why oh why did you have to ruin all my fun? (believe me, this is said 'tongue in cheek')

There's a pause in BB releases, check the site. Also: takes a couple of weeks for things to arrive from Greece. Use the tracking # in the USPS tracker, it starts tracking it when it hits the US>
