Ok I think I like this size of this Drip tip, this is 5mm shorter that the other, matched it with the button material. So the sleeve is 10mm long.

I'm a turner too, but have yet to make a drip tip. I'm curious, did you turn the metal part of this drip tip too? What kind of metal is that?Check out my Drip tip design, customizable. Just unscrew the top and put what ever sleeve you want on it.
I got my blanks to work with from exoticblanks.com
Got about 6 different ones to play with.

10mm SS rod from mcmaster.com, I made the screw on tip first, added threads M7 x .5 pitch and then drilled it out 3/16" then cut it off, screwed it onto a 510 adapter and shaped the tip and kissed it with a counter sink in the hole. The bottom portion I drilled 6.4mm then tapped it M7 x .5 pitch and then shaped it. Cut it off, flipped it, faced it and then drilled the 3.5mm hole in the bottom.
The acrylic is from excoticblanks.com, drilled a 7.8mm hole then turned it down to 10mm OD and cut it off 15mm long.
That's pretty much it.
I have a 2mm cutoff that works perfect for o-ring grooves. Got the orings from mcmaster.com also.

Wonder if black anodized will be up next Saturday? Promise, I won't beat the heck out of it like my polished BB. Really I won't. Never drop it on the stove, or down the stairs. Nope, no way jose.
Quick update to say no update... this has been a bad week, ruby was down for 3.5 day, lot or repair people taking up my time.. was trying to get tanks milled up this weekend and it's kinda working but i'm toast.. i need to go home and see my potato.. but i have been thinking about how to get rid of these two anodize test boxes... and i landed on black jack... so here's how it's gonna work..
We will have 24 Players..
12 will play for the ugly as sin pink abomination BB...
12 will play for a man'ly blue type BB...
the prizes are just our tests with slight cosmetic flaws and are not representative of our final thingys, but still, they're cool...
To select our players, the first to post "i want to playz for da pink" or "i want to playz for da blue" will be registered.
you don't have to be a girl to play for the pink one, or a boy to go after the blue.. but still, you HAVE to pick a side off the bat.
the contest will happen in THIS (where you are) thread.. i don't feel like starting a new one..
I will pair contestants and then post a card, and pull a card for you and PM you what it is.
You PM me back with Hit, or Stay.
I will not let you hit or wait for your reply if you have 21...
Pink will face Pink, Blue will face Blue, one will be eliminated each hand...
We play until there are two winners...
