Hi all, got my new anodized Billet Box yesterday and i thought I'd do a quick look at the new finish for those interested.

Cheers,
Adam the Aussie

Not very helpful for those of us pretending we don't mind waiting for the colored versions here, Mr. The-Aussie.

Oh yeah, nice video too, Adam.

Cheers, and let's have a vape. :vapor:

Just curious, seems I remember DD saying they have to mill the anodized a little different as the process changes the specs a little. You think that is going to mess up your door slide or are you just going to sand that little tiny difference out of the door? But very cool thing to do!

Ok so I know the door clearance is the main concern when anodizing, so here is what I did. I used an xacto knife and removed a couple thousands of material from the door track

I then used 1500 grit sand paper and cleaned up the track.

All nice and smooth

The door now falls in and out with no resistance and has some play, so I should be good to go for anodizing :)
We shall see.... she gets packed up and shipped off today.

I received my billet box today and I could not be more satisfied than I already am. It is way beyond my expectation! Thanks! I tried my best to skimp through these 1000 something of pages but still need some guidance so help me out please. I'm trying to figure out what I should put in my billet box and I'm leaning toward a billet bridge or a diver v2. Just kind of want everyone's opinions. I'm currently using a kayfun lite and had experience with dripper builds as well. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!

Right now I like 3 ohm slotted cartos. I've tried the Bridge with stock head and Diver prebuilts. So far I'm not happy with my coils, but I'm used to the Kayfun mini, Aiolos Steam Machines or isolated SS mesh wicks (Sdog, Sfox, Talos) . I'm working my way through all the possible BB solutions...But the smart money may be on the Diver v2 with pre-made wires, mine are on a slow boat from China...

Recommendation: Start with 3ohm cartos, some juices just rock like that, then experiment with another solution on the side. Oh, yeah buy a second tank at least, so you can vape it while you play... also, a Carto Driver is a nice thing to have.

Another 3 ohm slotted carto fan here! :) I am on a list for a Sabot because I've heard such wonderful things about it. But I haven't tried any of the other options yet.

Oops, I forgot! I have tried no filler cartos, and they work reasonably well and taste pretty awesome! The drawback is that they are hard to find, and do leak occasionally.
