Congratulations, AirborneRecon - and Happy Independence Day! Based on your handle, I must also assume that I owe you a "Thanks for your service!", in which case please consider it both done and sincere.

You can try sending DD an email or message, via the website. I have one but I wouldn't even give it away, because it was prone to an occasional gut-spilling leak. The delrin ones still allow me to see my juice level, and they've been sparkling, performance wise. I much prefer them to the clears, even though I can't actually "see" my liquid.

If DD doesn't have any you could always scan the classies, etc.. But my personal experiences would advise you to stick with the delrin. They absolutely ROCK.

Happy 4th everyone! I finally have a weekend off...As does most of the country. If DD has anything up this weekend...I at least have a chance, though I wouldn't blame him if he didnt. This is a weekend for celebrating, throwing flesh on a hot grill, and enjoying time with family and friends...at least that will be my main focus..

Thank you DPlongo, and happy 4th to you as well! I really loved the look of the clear tank. I prefer the polished BB as well, I just wasn't quick enough getting one

I've only had my Billet Box a month - from the first week of the anodised version - and like you was a wee bit disappointed it wasn't shiny shiny. However, I've now glad of it. I've taken it to work every day since, and it doesn't show; the anodised is no fingerprint magnet, and no scratches. But a clear tank would be nice. When topping up, I'd suggest loading a syringe with only as much juice as you reckon you need. If the tank is flat on its back, with the Delrin you get very little warning of over-filling before you scoosh juice all over everything! (Not that I did this. No. It may have happened to a friend...)

Rab, I usually tip my BB upright so the air bubble is in the corner where the fill hole is when filling my tank. It does take a little coordination, and yes, I've made a few messes here and there. :p But I don't end up squooshing 1/4 of a syringe full all over the place. Which I did do when I first got my BB.

I had no idea the anodizing was that tough actually, i figured it would scratch up and wouldnt be fixable, where if it was polished i could use flitz metal polish or mothers aluminum polish and make it look like new (i like making things shiny) but if its that tough then in suppose i should be glad mine is anodized... i like keeping things looking new as long as possible

I prefer it significantly over the raw, but it fits my tastes & lifestyle perfectly. Plus you don't have to clean them nearly as often. In fact, I'm 2+ weeks in and it still looks and feels like it came out of the box.

I believe DD used sound reasoning when deciding to replace the raw with the anodized.

Raw users will know that this is not typical of what a BB door looks like after almost three weeks of use. I haven't touched it; not even with a paper towel.
