Bigger than that - and heavier. It's pretty much too large in my opinion for a regular jeans pocket unless you wear large/baggy jeans. I wear a 34x30 jean with already fairly tight pockets, and it fits but sticks out a little too much. And the box is not light, esp with liquid and batteries and everything in.

damn, i don't wear baggy jeans at all either. i was hoping this would be the small bulletproof mod i was looking for. maybe i'll look into small mech mod.

edit, just saw the pic on the first page next to his phone. size is fine. now i'll just wait until they become available.

I finally got my tracking number yesterday...with a scheduled delivery of the 7th (This Thursday). Hopefully it will come on time and I won't experience the delays some others had. I ordered on the evening of December 19th. I have 2 sets of batts charged and ready to go. I didn't order a "Kit", but I did purchase a 2nd tank with the original order, which I'm REALLY glad I did now as I wasn't going to at the time. Is it Thursday yet?

Ugh!!! Snow storm here in VA as well! 8+ inches on the ground and still snowing! Wind whipping and NO POWER! So I feel your pain. Well ... Errrrrrrr ... Ummmmm ... Not really ... To have BB delivery that close and be delayed by the snow ... That's WORSE! Hoping that the mail will still be delivered ... But it's not like it used to be with USPS! :-(

Of course, that actually is a small cloud. I would put this vapor up against any RBA I have seen.

Oh and I usually just use my slap your mama tool from Big Daddy Vapor to fill my tanks, and used it for the first couple of fills and it worked perfect. Last night decided to try the syringe fill through the ball trap, worked like a charm. This precison device is so perfect in every way.

OK, hopefully what I'm about to ask will not be taken as blasphemy about the Billet Box. I think I have made it clear how much I love this device. What I'm thinking about doing is making the sides into a satin finish instead of the polished. I hate fingerprints on polished stainless as they make it look ugly and think taking the sides to a satin finish, with the polished front and back edges would look really cool and eliminate the majority of the fingerprints. What do the other BB owners think and how would be the best way to do this if possible?

i imagine doing this with steel wool or something of that sort?

OO or finer steel wool,lighty with bit o soap n water, or red(coarser) or grey(finer) scotch brite pad for paint prep, find this at auto parts store that sell paint supplies, maby home depot. Scotch brite pad may help to get a more uniform finish than steel wool. Or just wear some sexy gloves.

k, i'm on a grapefruit break so i thought i'd pop in here... it's not a big grapefruit though...

first: yahhhaaa, super glad you got yours brutasaurus!!!

second: i support makin' it all yours 100082%, I know it will look great, i'll do a little test for ya with one of our old code polished bodies that will give an idea what you could expect with different scratchy things... bestill is right on with the scotchbrite, that's a popular aluminum finishing method, steel wool will work too but it gets a little messy and you don't want the little bits of steel wool dust making there way into the cracks between the carbon and such... i don't move so he can shoot me was also right on about the ground work that sanding/polishing monkey dose, after that, you can remove scratches, dull it, bring it back to shiny, with just a little effort. I'll do a few things to a body and post on Sat, i will have another stupid short update on Sat as we are still in bust .... mode, but i'll touch on surface finish a bit....

and you born!, glad you got though customs ok, they didn't make you have to pay anything to clear it did they? We were wondering about that and if we need to start shipping with the customs declaration modified somehow when we ship up to you guys.

You can also pop out the batts in a pinch by using the corner of the back panel. Ah, the joys of tinkering with this thing.

oh, i don't think i ever touched on that,, just rap um' out into your palm... once the batt's "click" into place they lock pretty darn good. Just give the box a whack into your open palm and they should fall right on out.
