In the interests of accuracy, and directed at those who don't already know that I'm just the aforementioned "dope", the Fusions work just fine. I only need to push it down slightly, so the flange wasn't quite flush with the bottom of the tank.

It's amazing what a night's sleep with do for a brain.

Speaking of sleep, here's hoping that the Dino family got at least some of it.

Happy Saturday, everyone, and may it be a great one.

Oh! And what I learned today:
IKV Fusions (apparently) aren't long enough to fire the BB. Either that or I'm just a dope (a distinct possibility!). But that's probably not a bad thing, since 2423kids has kindly offered assistance with something better; and I'd probably scratch it if I used it now anyway.

Good night, kind world (as opposed to the cruel one that dominated my day). Until we meet again :vapor:

So, I might have a first in the Billet Box world. My BB has survived a plunge into my toilet. I had my BB in my hand while I was um, taking care of some business and, of course, lost my grip. I squeeked as I watched by beloved BB drop with a splash into the not-so-clean water and sit there for a span of ten or so seconds as I worked up my courage to fish it out. Once recovered, I quickly removed the batteries and tank dried it off as much as possible and set all parts out to dry naturally. I was beside myself and wondered how I would clean everything and settled on wiping it down with a towel dampened with some sort of all-natural, organic, biodegradable, puppy-hugging, planet-saving cleaner my wife bought. I then set it down to dry again then came back and gave it a sniff test and no foul odors were detected. I put in new batteries, a fresh tank and, you guessed it, it fired on the first try!!! F. YES.

So, don't pee with your BB in hand, but if you do, you just might get as lucky as I did. And many thanks to DD for designing such a survivor!!

Damn, just saw this and while sorry to laugh at your misfortune, but man that is funny. Guess you were using too firm a grip on the wrong drip tip!

Next time you want to test the water resistance, might wanna use the sink instead.;)

No joke. Never to early to prepare for college. It's amazing how fast they grow up.

And how much it costs...I'm a CFP, and I know too well that look on client's faces when they get the sticker shock of the price of college + 18 years of inflation.

I'm sure most of you have already heard the old story of the guy at the bar that needed to use the facilities. On his way to the bathroom, he had to stop to make a quick call first, and still had a dime in his hand when he stepped up to the urinal. Well, of course he dropped the dime into the urinal as he was making ready. He stared at the dime quietly for a moment. Then, without a word, he reached into his pocket, pulled out another dime and a nickel, and threw them into the urinal as well, alongside the original dime that fell in. At that point, he reached in and retrieved all the dropped coins. The guy standing at the urinal beside him, was flabbergasted at this, and asked him what in the world that was all about. The coin dropper smiled and said, "for a dime, NO! But for a quarter, YES!"

The moral of the story? It all depends upon the value.

091.jpgWell, after two plus weeks of sweating the military postal system, my Billet Box arrived today in the vape mail. All I can say is WOW! This is an awesome piece of equipment. This is by far the best everyday carrying PV. Exactly the same size of a soft pack of analogs and is a power hitter. Works great with a LR Boge and Boba's Bounty @ a smige below 4.5v. The naval brass BB would be a mate to my aluminum!
