If that doesn't scream "I know I did wrong, so now I want to hide my identity in hopes no one notices", I don't know what does. LOL

yeppers.......but all his posts and activities don't go away...they are still there....just under a different ecf name...

I was wondering so I did a little checking and everybody that replied to him with the "Reply with Quote" left a "in tact quote by him" with his old ecf name shown and this can be compared to the same original post that now shows his new ecf name...so the "chain" can be followed....even in the closed classified adds....all pm's sent by him or to him will still be there just under his new ecf name...

So how do I go about buying one of these? Website says sold out, no way to order. I've been reading that there is only one day they go up for sale, and people have "been trying to buy one" for several months, I read 6 months in one forum. What the ....? I just started vaping and want a quality device, this looks like exactly what I want. I'm going to end up smoking again if I have to wait 6+ months to order a device.

While this thread is approaching 1,000 pages, you only need to have read the last 20 pages or so to catch my posts with links to older posts that provide advice on maximizing your chances of purchasing a Billet Box.

If you have the right connections...

I would think it would be very easy to ask a friend to buy something for me because I had to work, or use an alternate shipping address, etc.

Unfortunately, It would be even easier to create a new email and a different ECF account for similar intents, albeit for psychological manipulation, instead of financial.

My other half is a psychologist...she said sociopath.

There are lots of reasons peeps change their identity....one comes to mind...

Scammers also change their identity for financial gain and/or to avoid getting caught...we see that all the time where senior citizens are prayed upon....yep, I think about this because I'm in the category of "senior"....LOL

Cool I will look into this later when I'm not at work!

They are easy to get if you know how and have some inside connections

Unfortunately they are difficult to get, but not impossible. I got mine within a month of wanting it, there are a few good posts out there that really explain some tricks to use to help you out that work, otherwise yeah it can be a while unfortunately.

However, there are a ton of great devices you can get in the meantime, so you don't go back to the analogs.

In the end a device is a device, and there are plenty that will do whatever it is you would want to keep you off of that mountain.

As Blix mentions, some other device or a range of other box styled mods if your into boxies may work while you wait (edited for not advertising-syn). So please please, before you give up, try some out, you may be surprised, as most of us were and can still be, how a mod you thought you would never, ever like, becomes a faithful friend.

I HATED box mod looks, and mechanics. I figured I always would. Boy was I wrong. By the same extension, there are a lot of mechanical tube style mods that you may think look ridiculous, or unwieldly, or whatever, that once in hand feel perfect, and just work. Anyone here would gladly help you in any way we can, be that about the BB or anything else, you can always PM me or others I am sure, for some help or advice.

Beyond that, congratulations on your first steps into vaping, it can be hard at first to find enough sweet spots of vaping, to stick with it, but it is so worth it, and health wise, so worth it.. that yeah, congratulations and welcome. Hope you stay a long long time.

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it! I actually completely hate box mods, but the way the BB seems to work is just too ideal for me to care how it looks (which is actually pretty damn slick for a box mod).

I'm using two iTaste VV/VW 3.0's right now, they get the job done but I want something that requires even less maintenance then the iTaste + Protanks.

If that were the case, I wouldn't have responded to you.. Y'all need to use some common sense. I wanted a moniker that reflected my love of reos . As you said, you can see all my transaction history on ecf... Do any of those look like scams? Does any of my 100 percent positive feedback here indicate any scams?

Hang in there and stay off the "stinkies"....I too hated box mods years ago but have since grown to enjoy them....I'm a fan of "fiddle free" just like you....some call it "old school".....

Unless you are going to use the Billet Box with a rebuildable atomizer like the Diver, the Billet Box will be about the same level of maintenance as your current setup.

However, there are some key differences:

1. The iTaste is a VW device, so you can pop a tank on, and it will automatically adjust voltage to get the power to which you have set it. The BB is a VV device, so you have to know the resistance of your atomizer, and dial the voltage to get the vape you want. You should pick up an ohm reader to test the resistance on a carto before installing in the BB tank - it can be faulty or mislabeled. This goes for any atty you use.

2. Protank coils do not need any prep work - you just pop it in and vape. Cartos need pre-soaking to work properly. There's a great discussion about this in the last few pages.

3. The BB tank needs to be cleaned every so often (same as with a Protank), and the door and the slots into which the door slides need to be wiped off and lubed with a bit of olive oil or such every few days.

Think of the BB as a device that requires a bit more work, but gives you a better looking device and a better vape.

When I first started vaping, I was all about the tube mods, didn't want to look at box mods at all.

Now, less than a year later, I've sold most of my tube mods, and I mostly use the BB and Microstick, with a Hana on order.

Other things I mistakenly thought I would never like, try or use:

1. RBAs.
2. NR wire.
3. Cotton wick.
4. Microcoils.
5. Sub-ohm coils.
6. Warm vapes.

I got my Billet Bridge today from Atmistique, and I really like it! I love my cartos, but I figured I would give this a go, since I can't get the Diver V1 or v2 to work for me (complete user error, I'm sure. I just suck at rebuilding things). I love the flavor from these aspire heads, although I wish they came in higher res. So far, I love it. Great flavor from these things. Just gotta remember to turn the voltage down a bit (cough, cough!). Dry, scratchy hits taste baaaaad.

Welp, it must be Billet Bridge nite in BB land.

I too got a B Bridge tonite..... a lovely and completely surprising gift!! (Thank you. So unexpected, SO thoughtful, soooo appreciated!!) :D

Like you, sgenn, I not only LIKE it (shock of shocks) but also had to turn the VV down a notch. Then down a notch again. The first couple of hits tasted.... hmmmm..... "off"*, but persevering one that I am, I kept at it. It's now a champion vape and I am enjoying it .... VERY much.

(*off = coil was most likely not fully engaged with the vliquid at that point.)

Will I give up my kartos?

Yeah, no.
But is this worth giving a whirl? Abstolutely.

Then again, to be fair, this is about 2 hours into it. I will keep vaping it and making mental notes so that I can compare them to Kata's review.

I must say tho, I really am enjoying this... a LOT.

(Thank you SO much!)

7932.3... no rush, unless you're just ultra kurious. I like the Aspire coils. I have a couple of Aspire tanks (the originals, not the Nautilus), and they are fine for an evening out and about (remember those???) or for short runs/errands. They're good...... for clearos.

I want to spend some alone time with this B Bridge so that I can reflect some less KatNip-ish opinions. So far, it's a good vape. Different than a karto in that it's less muted and more TH. In fact right now, it's starting to rip up the back of my throat a bit.

My first few hits were the nastiest dry hits I've had in... perhaps ever. Worked properly afterwards. I thing the coil needs a drop of juice dripped in before being inserted into the tube and tank. Not surprising, any coil&wick needs to be primed.

Hmmmmmm ... I'm gonna take that as a hold on to yer horses ... ;-) Soooooo yep ... I AM curious and I did read about the Aspire clearo tanks awhile ago. If I remember right the coils didn't go much higher than 2.0's (or somewhere around there). Hmmmmmm .... Running a "tad" hot ya say? LOL! ;-) I'll wait.

And Noooooooooooooooooooo ... I don't remember what a night out is like! Ugh! But soon ... MAYBE!! I hope anyway! It is MUCHO needed! :D
