Hi all. Having trouble getting the diver V2 to wick. Is there maybe a suction issue with the BB tank? All I seem to get are dry hits and flooding in the center hole. I tried posting the question in another area of the forum with no luck. Ideas? I'm using cotton wick btw.
It may or may not be a suction issue but I am able to wick the shipped 1.8 ohm and the greater than 3 ohm coil that I have built for at least a tank. I've only used silica standard coils and not cotton micro. A friend said you can try a bit of electrical tape over the ball to resolve suction, but I only switched to a lighter juice.

You can't beat yourself up over stuff like that, Peter. I've broken the best of things, and will almost certainly lose that little ring sometime myself. Life, it goes on.
Besides, rings are replaceable. Just ask any woman who's remarried. ;-)

Probably too much wick blocking the juice channels I'd guess. I find that the best wicks for the diver v2 are thin, almost wispy wicks that lie flat against the ceramic cup. When viewed through the feed slots, you can hardly see the wick. Try trimming and thinning the wick going down the side of the cup. That should give more room for the juice to travel up to your coil.
About that "It'll taste even better tomorrow." You were RIGHT DP!!!! ( And I rarely say that to a "guy"!! Haha! ;-) )
Alrighty ... Sabot-DDD plugged in Monday evening. Two full days with it at this point. Flavor is great! Not a single drop of leakage or "condensation" so far. Being a BB carto user ... It's a little weird to not hear that snap, crack, pop of a carto. The draw is smoother than a carto. I'll admit to being a little absent lately (real life is REALLY busy these days), so I've not kept up like I should have. Was there mention along the way of an air flow control? Is this something that is on the final version we'll be getting? I might like just a tad bit tighter draw. Other than that this thingy ROCKS and I'm really looking forward to owning one!! Woot!

Yes the version in the co-op is with air control. They will arrive tomorrow at Drunk_J's house. A quick re-box and they are on their way to yall.

Agreed. Nothing better than the Rice Krispies-esque sound of a humming karto in da morning. (also known Rice Bubbles - did ya know that?). And I do believe that the version of the Sabot that we shall be getting does indeed have air control. And that's a GOOD thing. I'd also like a bit of a tighter draw on it.
