It's "Billet Box Club".

Thanks, Bamrz. Sorry - I was moving WAY too fast today. And thanks RC for posting the pics.

Just for clarity, I'm not pushing the things. I just wanted to make sure everything here knew of their existence, because it's the BB group I happen to value most.

If you want one, grab it (because there are only a few remaining). If not, just pass it up. At least everyone knows they're there, and that's all I cared.

Enjoy!!!

That they do....and no need for the official cap tool of the BB. I just happened to have a brass with black derlin top DT that looks almost perfect on my all black BB. So a solid brass wide bore one piece top would be awesome! :D

Just ordered a Billet Bridge and V2 diver...now to order some BVCs. ..

I like it, but it's not my favorite look either. I'll say this much though, since I've basically kept it a secret since June (other than from a very select few people here).

I've had a one piece tip since the end of June. At the time it was the only one in existence. The convenience is quite cool, and very addicting. It's very different from this one though, and the actual tip portion is the Gemini from Atmistique. I absolutely love it, and it didn't leave my Kurbis until fairly recently.

It's currently being borrowed by someone, and it might even return to me one day (but that's still an open issue). But I've been hoping someone comes out with more, and I even appealed to Konstantinos (Atmistique) to consider making them. He hadn't decided yet, the last time we spoke, so now that these few (different) ones are on the market, I decided to grab a couple.

Will I like them as much? Probably not. But I will like having the one piece for times I might require a quick tank change without having to deal with the quarter. And it IS quick. I used to swap out during the work day with very little effort.

This concludes today's public service announcements, and we now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Likewise. DLP Not pushing the sale of these tips. Would of thought it would have been shared way before this as they've been going for the last couple of weeks. I would of been down for one if they were brass and a tad bit longer. Kinda like my tips to be around 20 mm tall.

I'd been wondering why he DIDN'T do anything here, but that's his business, not mine. And yes, I actually like them even taller than you do, given a preference. But I can, and have, work with almost anything (except for the wide ones - I don't like those).

And when convenience is required, I can make it work.

Now (XXX) GIMME BACK MY DRIP TIP!!!! ;-)

(You KNOW I'm kidding, don't you dare...)

My only concern? Isn't one of the reasons for the brass screw part, to create a seal between it and the carto/sabot/bridge? If I am looking at the photos correctly, I see no way for it to create such a seal? Is that a concern? It looks like no part actually goes 'inside' the carto (etc) to lock it in place like the brass screw does?

Perhaps this is, or, is not an issue? Could someone smarter than I speak to this please?

As to the bottom of the tip. There's no much movement in the tank and when tighten it will pressure fit against the Carto etc. not my preference as I like that the brass screw connects to the bridge via the o-ring. Alternatively it creates less of a pinch point probably allowing for a little bit of an airier draw. Speculation of course. I like the concept a lot but with the anodized color bb visually not my preference. I however have found delrin friction tips I really like that fit so tight that it allows you to unscrew and tighten the brass screw. Getting the similar effect of not needing a nickel as this one piece tip. Like everything in life it's up to the folks and their strokes. Damn that sounds dirty

I didn't notice that at first....but you are right. Glad you said that...hope he catches it before having the rest made. But, maybe just sitting down on the top will stop the leak, which would be better IMO. I have lost two tank of fluid already because the cap pulled out the sabot while I was unscrewing it and juice flowed out everywhere. Hope it didn't hurt anything.....

The original Billet Box top screw was concave where it seated to the carto etc. and no o-ring. Made a good seal IMO. Think the tip modder would be wise to incorporated that original design.

Regarding the SABOT-DDD pulling apart. Be sure that the top part fits tightly in the head. Sometimes the head needs to be squeezed together just a little before inserting the top tube. There is some variance between heads, and sometimes the head spreads apart a little when the stock stem is wiggled to be removed.

Another sure fire method is to just remove the o-ring from the top cap altogether, or replace with a slightly smaller o-ring repurposed from a drip tip. It will still make a good seal.
