I vape various flavors of Vanilla. Most of what I get is from MBV, 65PG/35VG. I am just finishing a bottle of Nicorete(sp) CLS that I bought seven months ago, and just opened last week for the first time, and it is/was basically 'black' - I assume that is not it's normal color, but as it's my first bottle of it I am unsure.
But my MBV comes as a very light tan color, and with age will become a very dark brown - looks kinda gross, but vapes fine. I do wonder as I read about dark juice killing heads fast (or faster) than light juice, if by my letting my juice age, am I costing myself more $$ by shortening the life of my BVC heads?
It's not that I am purposefully trying to age all my juice, more so that I tend to buy in spurts, and end up with enough juice for a year. Right now I have five 236ml bottles partially used, and 6 or 7 30-60ml bottles either full, or almost full. I've got a 30ml bottle for filling and most of the time I will mix 2-4 different juices together.
I found one no-name vape shop's "french vanilla' that I LOVE, but they only sell in 10ml bottles for $9.99 each with zero discounts, and I is simply too poor to buy that when I can get a 236ml bottle from MBV for around $50 bucks. (Poor Peter) SAY-LA-V
LA V!
Petah, from what I know of flavorings, there are some that welp, just go dark. It's in their nature, and vanilla is definitely amongst that crowd. (Caramel, too.) So seeing that you are predominantly a vanilla vaper, it's just going to be par for your course.
I have some NicoTicket in the custardy flaves that has turned jet black (DPL referred to this), and it concerned me. It concerned me not because I'll vape it, but I wanted to let someone else have at it if they loved NicoTicket. I did check with the blender, and evidently it's fine, but I suppose there are quite a few of us that don't wish to vape on something that inky in color. Like you, I don't really want to junk up coils so quickly.
You can see why I hesitated to list these on the Classies, right? I still may do, now that they've been given the seal of approval.
The beautiful color of the brand of eliquid I buy for the most part doesn't even change over time. I still have some of
my Beloved from July of 2012, and it is still a gorgeous honey red color and is rich and sweet and luscious. That's one of the things that has been important to me over the years: vaping a liquid that stays true to its color. Some of the even lighter ones (ex. Twilite) are SO carto friendly, it's shocking.
Are you storing your liquids properly?
Soooo understand this.
The BoB is so lovely but it takes me six months to save for one and well......what can I say...."where's that piggy bank".
LILA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! come to mama!
Dizzy, yep very! Now where's the wine!
Come on over, wize. We'll see what we can find....

The BoB is so lovely??? That's what I've been trying to tell DPL for months!! BoB is just so kool!
