So I'm in for my second try on the Billet Box and snagged a Blue Oyster Box yesterday. This time I have a Billet Bridge and some BVC heads and a Sabot on the way so I should be better prepared. Last time around I just couldn't handle the carto experience but loved the beauty and craftsmanship of the BB.
It was pre-release. LA V!
Petah, from what I know of flavorings, there are some that welp, just go dark. It's in their nature, and vanilla is definitely amongst that crowd. (Caramel, too.) So seeing that you are predominantly a vanilla vaper, it's just going to be par for your course.
I have some NicoTicket in the custardy flaves that has turned jet black (DPL referred to this), and it concerned me. It concerned me not because I'll vape it, but I wanted to let someone else have at it if they loved NicoTicket. I did check with the blender, and evidently it's fine, but I suppose there are quite a few of us that don't wish to vape on something that inky in color. Like you, I don't really want to junk up coils so quickly.
You can see why I hesitated to list these on the Classies, right? I still may do, now that they've been given the seal of approval.
The beautiful color of the brand of eliquid I buy for the most part doesn't even change over time. I still have some of my Beloved from July of 2012, and it is still a gorgeous honey red color and is rich and sweet and luscious. That's one of the things that has been important to me over the years: vaping a liquid that stays true to its color. Some of the even lighter ones (ex. Twilite) are SO carto friendly, it's shocking.
Are you storing your liquids properly?
Well, oh cautiousness one, I do hope your bridge experience significantly trumps your carto one. Good luck and we'll be interested to hear!
And don't let the Blue Oyster join any cults, y'hear?
I don't have a billet box, but I have followed this topic for almost 2 years now.
When the 1st post, announcing the BB went up in 2012, I was in the topic on the 1st page, I started PMing people because this looked amazing. It was like 5:00am in the morning. It was pre-release.

On opening night my bank account was dry, so no BB --- I sure did try to win it in the contest though. The one that went out to that winner was astonishly gorgeous!
There had been a lot o things come and go in the vape world, but I knew when I saw this thing that it was a work of art. Nothing was coming close ....I had not seen anything quite like it.
It is always fascinating to watch innovation happen, in real time, and then see where it goes, month by month.
which is why I am still subscribed to this topic....... I'm truly glad it turned out to have longevity, and was no flash-in-the-pan.
Kudos to this mod maker.![]()
All that, and more.I ordered a billet bridge and some of the bvc's is it? How does something like this compare to like a kayfun? One of the best tasting atties I've ever vaped is the kayfun 2.1 mini, would be slick to have the kayfun mini converted into a square tank to fit the billetbox. does anything availabe out there compare to a vape like a kayfun?
