yeah, guess I'll have it soon. the diver is actually doing pretty good here though now that's it's broken in. I haven't vaped with long tight draws in a really long time but now this is more set up for long slow draws. the double drilled diver is wicking great, if I pull too hard it does flood a bit but once I ease up on the draw it just feeds and feeds, haven't had to do any excess primer puffs today at all. the check atomiser msg was not because of a shoddy connection in the diver as I was originally thinking, it was because I built the coil too high at 3.4 ohms so once I go past 19 watts the dna tops out and gives that msg and fires on-off-on-off, gotta build a coil more in the lower range maybe 2 ohms or so... vaping it now at ~18 watts and it's pretty good so far....

so far this thing is vaping great, the heat up lag is causing me to cook through batteries pretty quickly though, def gotta build a bit lighter coil here

ha, the hardest part is not gluing or soldering, it's carving out the aluminum without damaging anything that shows after it's re-assembled. this was one of the hardest dna installs I've done, it was almost like a circus trick just trying to get the screen glued in place nice and straight without ripping the screen off of the dna, took me 2 tries just to get it glued in there perfectly straight :)

honestly if you're not opposed to the screen being inside under the slide off door and giving up the stock inner dial cover then it is a whole lot easier and I think many could do it. I'd be happy to give tips and advice if anyone wants to do one with the screen inside, but the screen on the outside is quite a bit more difficult

I was wondering if the dna board could be put on the bottom right with cut out on that side and batt on the side where the dial is now. and buttons one the bottom left side. Of coarse I haven't looked a the schematics/layout of a dna board so I have no idea.

Mmmm. wonder if 18650 batt instead too. Maybe have the buttons to change temp control etc on the inside. Ahhh nevermind the button is on that side.

I've been thinking about a 18650 in here like that too, the mod is ~2mm too thin for an 18000 series battery but custom panels with a relief can work, only problem is the space that's left in that config is a bit too tight for a dna. might be able to use the guts of a evic 20 in there though...

If you can manage to squeeze an 18650 in there, you can keep the DNA. I'll take the big batt, thank you very much. THAT would be game changer for me.
