the diver really frustrated me in trying to use 28ga, I could kinda get it to work but not so thrilled with the results and really not liking it much, really hate building on it. I did have hopes for the billet bridge but I've looked into rebuilding the bvc heads and I'm not so sure that would be spectacular to build on either...

don't mean to sound like an elitist or anything but truth is, for me to carry and use the billet box on a regular basis I need it to be able to give me a vape that's really awesome because I have so many other vaping devices that are really awesome, if it's just ok then it's just going to sit on a shelf, I really like the bb and want to be able to carry it every day so I decided to sacrifice my only kayfun mini to it, only way I could think of to make sure I really love this thing. the kayfun mini is a spectacular atty so it just seemed like a natural marriage to me. it kinda hurt to chop up one of my most favorite atties, this atty cost almost as much as the billet box when it was new but I really think it was for a good cause. it's not finished completely I was up late last night hacking it up and couldn't finish it completely but it's most of the way there, should be able to finish it tonight. originally I was thinking of building a new SS tank for the mini but decided that for now I'll just work with the delrin tank, I could always do a SS tank with glass window later if I really wanted to but it is nice even with the delrin, would be nicer with a clear window tank though :)

here's a peek :)

I would be a very happy man if I could just buy a tank like this that fits in my BB, I think a whole tank designed around this would be perfect.

I agree, unfortunately for an actual kayfun mini to work with the existing tank design the BB needs to be carved out a bit for it to fit and it needs a custom shorter height lower contact too. if a new tank was designed with a few mm's less height it would then be possible to fit a modified tank/atty assy to a stock bb, that's why I wanted to build a custom tank originally to be a slip in fit with the stock bb, end result may wind up only holding 5ml instead of the 6.5 but I'd consider that a worthwhile tradeoff. the way I did mine I probably dropped down to ~6ml capacity now because of the extra internal volume of the kayfun chamber. I went this way here just to get her done and end my diver frustrations and I wasn't too concerned with backwards compatibility and obviously I'm not too opposed to carving up this BB, but I can see most wouldn't really consider chopping up there BB, a drop in kayfun tank would be really sweet here, it's very possible and simple even, someone just needs to actually make it :) a kayfun tank in the BB would be a hit I think :)

Just make a stainless tank, design it so that the Kayfun base screws into the bottom flush with the tank, you put the chimney on first, and seals at the top when you screw the base on, the top connector would have to be worked out, but yeah someone just needs to make it.

And the post that pulled me from my hole-in-the-ground.

I would personally like to welcome THE 5cardstud (aka "J5", aka "5c", aka/aka/aka...) to The Billet Box thread. I don't have much to say right now, but THIS was important to me. A good man, and a good friend. And not just to me either.

Welcome, J5. :)

I'll be back.

5!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the house of the B Box!

Thank you both. You two are very good to me.

Not quite what I had in mind. But, thanks just the same.

Oh. Sorry about that. ;-)

Are you still planning on Tuesday for our.other conversation? If not let me know? I've had a couple of inquiries but won't budge unless you tell me to.

Have a good night all.
