I think the grey matter just started smoking. I think I got it. Now I just have to work it out. Great idea. I' ex been thinking if it works in the Billet Box that there had to be a way to use the BVCs in carto tanks. Kat and I were just talking about our carto tanks not getting any use.

I just needed to find a way to put a 510 connector on the coil with out having to destroy something to do it. I had a lot of try's with drilling out then went looking for a pin. This just fell together. Hubby won't let me play with power tools so this suits me just fine. Only tool required is a paper clip or sewing pin. Be careful not to twist the pin out as it can damage the connection on the insulator. Mine just pulled out clean.

Oh just in case. I used Boge carto pins because they have the airflow hole otherwise you will get suck wrinkles :)

Just on this as a quick fix to the little black grommet I used (which just narrows the space in the cartomizer and matches the hole in the coil head) you can use the little white bit that comes out of the cartomizer. This forms a nice seal. The hole is a bit small so use a small punch to make it a bit bigger. It works but is a bit soft for a permanent solution.

Kudos also goes to GT who made the grommet. I think the billet bridge top will work and will try that when my spare arrives. This came about because I want to be able to use the billet bridge in my tanks.

I think your concept is wonderful, Krisma. I'm not EXACTLY following the procedure tho. Hopefully if Snake has it figured out, he might be able to help me with it.

What is the black grommet? (Understood you can use the little carto silicone caps.) For what is the paper clip or sewing pin? And by the way, NOW we're talking tools, boys. ;)

The aspire coil has a hole through the bottom pin. Insert pin/paperclip and pull pin out of the bottom. In my first pic you will see a black line. This is actually a little delring ring that has a small hole that lines up with the top hole of the aspire coil. Stops flooding and concentrates airflow. Because I wanted to use ready available bits you can use the white plug that Boge put in their cartos. Press fit that to the empty carto tube and that just sits nicely on the aspire coil head.

I will dismantle everything and take a new series of shots when my bridge arrives probably Monday.

Has anyone ever had a set of the aw irc 123 16340 batteries, go bad after they after just 4 months old? My charger Xtar VP2 says that they are charged but they don't work.

Do you have a multimeter to check them? Or another mod you can try them in? Do you charge other batteries on your Xtar and do they work (maybe it's the charger)? Have you tried cleaning the contacts on both the batteries and the BB? When was the last time you cleaned your brass ring? It can get gunked up enough to keep your BB from working.

And no, I have NEVER had a battery go bad. I have some that are going on 5 years old and they still work and charge as well as ever.

A quick update on my DIY billet bridge just in case anyone is trying it I was just writing it up and taking photos and realised I used an old atomizer pin. Not a carto pin. Ooops sorry.

Happy anniversary DP may you vape for many more. :)

I don't have a meter yet, I have been planning on getting one. I have 6 more of these same batteries, the BB is the only devise I have to use them in and all my other batteries work fine. The charger is charging the others, or else none of them would work.

Kemosabe puts us on this this REALLY COOL little thing that I use ALL THE TIME. Especially for the BB batteries. It's cheap, easy and who care if it breaks? Mine's lasted quite awhile already, so I go my money's worth. I'll get another if I ever end up needed one.
