Kinda like my wife. She's not allowed to play with knives or numbers. :)

Done and done!

Hubby has a beautiful man cave for all his woodworking and originally I thought he was worried about me hurting myself.

Its turns out he was worried about me hurting his tools .........ROFL........

Kable, as much as I love my "raw" B Box (original version) and will not ever let it part from my life, the anodized are FAR superior in several ways, and you nailed the primary one. It is smooth as silk, and requires FAR less cleaning and maintenance. LOVE it!

willow eyelidsdrooping, why would I want to PM you? I'm keeping yer glass faced tank. :p

Yeah, I'm too sentimental about this thing to ever give it up (I think it was about a three month wait to get it after I ordered it...oh, the anticipation was painful). But I'm starting to get excited about the thought of a new one. It's going to be fun to be a BB fanatic all over again.

Ever seen a 1-armed paper-hanger working? Neither have I. Due to suddenly finding out they are calling for 3-6 inches of snow here late tonight/tomorrow, I needed to move the snow-blower from the shed to the garage, and put my lovely wife's winter-only tires on her little car.

Of course, being left-handed and 3+ weeks post-op on my shoulder what would normally take me 40 minutes has taken me 2+ hours and the kind help of said lovely wife (who thinks rolling tires is fun). I purposely did not glove my left hand as a reminder - and of course my left hand just got very dirty ;)

Anyone wanna bet there will be no snow tonight?

I had an arthroscopic bankart repair on my right shoulder (I'm right handed) about 8 years ago, so I can empathize with your plight. I had been having recurring subluxation in that shoulder for more than 10 years after dislocating it a couple times. Was happening almost daily by the time I had surgery on it. I was in the marine corps at the time, so it was taking a lot of abuse. I was glad to have the surgery, but it took about a year to recover. I've dislocated my left shoulder three times this year. It took me 25 hours to get it back in by myself the last time, and I cracked a couple bones doing it. So I may have another shoulder surgery in my future. I got a three year old boy and a three month old girl, so I don't really want to be one armed right now, but I'll have to see how it goes.

What did you have done on your shoulder?

Thanks for all the great ideas everyone. I am so not skilled with tools or anything like that. It takes me awhile to wrap my head around DIY stuff. ....!! I'll bet when stud gets his bridge, he will have a better idea of a quick fix for me. Of course, I can definitely contact the maker as well. Thanks again everyone. Very nice of you.:)

Some vendors in my country advise to try using the efest 16340 (3.7v) and KeepPower CR123 / 16340 3.7V 700mAh Protected Li-ion Recharge Battery. Has anyone had any experience using both of this brands?

Im really excited to get my kuerbiskuchen bb tomorrow!!!

If you don't have access to AW, then the Efest are ok. They just don't seem to have as long a life expectancy as the AW and i have gotten one or two that the protection clamped (or shut down current flow) less than the 3 amps or whatever the rating was. But better than the really crap brands by far.

Oops, I didn't mean to kill the mood in here. What's everybody's favorite color of BB? Are the abalone button models released with most batches?

ETA: And are batches being released weekly these days?

You didn't, no worries, Kable. We (like to) discuss most ALL topics in this little thread of ours. ;) (Right BOYZ?)

And I do wish you luck on your shoulder. It can't be easy raising two little humans with two fully functional shoulders, much less one.

I believe the AB buttons are only on the Lila Monster, the TMNTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT (whatevs), and the Blue boys. I think all the other colors come with a choice of the black button or the Mamma of Pearl. (who, coincidentally enuf would be my great gramma)

Yes, so far the batches have been released weekly, on Katurdays. ;)

Cool, thank you. Ah, the mother of pearl looks cool too. Sounds like I'm going to be playing the BB release waiting game again. I think a little anticipation makes it that much more fun, though, and it's a little more bearable knowing there are weekly batches.

LOL, nice of DD to release the batches on your punday.

I've had mine for awhile. It's in the drawer. I've been so busy repairing laptops, cutting cartos, and a bunch of other stuff I'm to tired to talk about but I'll have a look at mine tomorrow and I bet I got an ecig part in my ecig parts drawer that will work.

On my phunday.... yeppers! ;)

Wishing you a grand time playing for your new B Box. And for what color will you opt?

The mamma of pearl is very, very nice, just by the way.

Stud, shirley you have many bits in your drawers.

Thank you. Not sure what color yet. The black, grey blue, and green all looked good to me, but I'm open to other colors and I'm just going to keep an eye on what gets made in the next few weeks and look for one that I'm drawn to.

The "mamma of pearl" is definitely a nice touch. Is it inappropriate to tell a lady she has a nice box? It even has decorative jewelry.

Then it is particularly appropriate. ;)

Good luck to you! Of course please let us know what the Kable Guy chose.
